I skipped MLK...I needed to pay of credit cards used for Christmas. My wife and I have now donated $751 to Ron Paul since Nov. 5th. I never thought I would give any of my hard earned cash to a politician, hell I refuse to even check the $3 box for the Presidential campaign fund when I do my taxes.
I only wish there was a way to defeat the corporate power of the media to decide elections. Grassroots...its not easy, but I fear we are running out of time to expand the grassroots efforts. We would need 20% nationally to get into debates for an Independent run...what are we now? 7%?

The American people are starved for this message. People will wake up and there will be change. I have no doubt. I've never given to a campaign either and I'm at around $700 now and am a precinct leader. A lot of people I talk to have never heard of Ron Paul. The ones that have, tell me he has no shot. Since I've been following his campaign back in October, I've seen nothing but growth. We are moving in the right direction whether the mainstream media will acknowledge it or not. Keep the faith dig deep.. Long live the revolution!

I hear you, my brotha...
I'm another one of those who has NEVER, EVER given to anything political and never put a bumpersticker on my car for anything or anyone...God included (figure God has the BEST grassroots campaign going on the planet anyway...lol). Anyhoo, I just feel compelled to give whenever that call goes out on these money bombs.
Every time I hear Ron speak, I stand/sit dumbfounded that the American public does not rally behind this man in DROVES! Absolutely baffles me!
So, here we go again to the checkbook or credit/debit card...WooHoo! :-)
