Thank You! Daily Paul Summer 2014 Fundraiser Day 14 - 100% Complete!

Update: Dear Friends,

Thank you for your overwhelming support. In just two weeks, you helped raise $15,000 to keep the DP afloat until the end of the year. I will have a full update tomorrow on the number of contributors who made this possible.

Normally I send out thank you postcards, but this time I'm sending out the very first issue of the PEACE GOLD LOVE Letter with an update on the state of DP exclusively for members who donated. Watch your mailboxes in the latter half of September.

If you did not contribute, but would like to receive the first issue, there is still time. Make your contribution by September 1st and include an address and you'll receive a copy via US Post.

Thank you again for your contributions, and for making the DP such a special place.

We opened up registration for the first time in a long time, and that revealed some bugs in the site that are in need of fixing. The DP is like a big old drafty house, in need of some maintenance and repair, and for that I need your help.

I went to set up a donation widget at that great free site chipin.com, and its gone! That internet institution, ChipIn is no more. That's what happens to free resources on the internet. Eventually, they disappear.

Please don't let that happen to the Daily Paul. You can make a one time or recurring contribution to the DP with your PayPal account or your credit or debit card.

PayPal address: bull@bullnotbull.com

Bitcoin is also gladly accepted at the Daily Paul's official bitcoin address:

Since ChipIn is no more, and there are no other free substitutes that I can find, I will be updating the thermometer manually.

The address for physical payments (silver, gold, cash, check and love letters) is:

Michael Nystrom
The Daily Paul
P.O. Box 271
Somerville, MA 02143

(Please make checks payable to the Daily Paul)

When making a donation, please be sure that your address is current, as I'll have something to send back to you as well.

Thank you all for your continuing and ongoing support! If you make regular purchases at Amazon.com, please remember to use the DP's Amazon affiliate link, which yields the site a commission of 4 - 8% of your purchase, at no cost to you.

Yours in Peace, Gold and Liberty,

Michael Nystrom

Symbolized by Tolkien as the Three Rings of Elvish Lords.

Cirdan gave Gandalf the Ring of Caring to stir hearts that had gone cold.

Yea! Thanks for the update!

We need $4502. Almost there. :)

Then may we start on fixing the issues, please?

This song came on in the car last night,

and all I could think of was the DP and what it means to me.

I believe that this world believes in love.

I believe it too. But I believe most of the world doesn't know it.

To be mean is never excusable, but there is some merit in knowing that one is; the most irreparable of vices is to do evil out of stupidity. - C.B.

Yes, and Love by leaving free.

free (adj.)
Old English freo "free, exempt from, not in bondage," also "noble; joyful," from Proto-Germanic *frijaz (cognates: Old Frisian fri, Old Saxon and Old High German vri, German frei, Dutch vrij, Gothic freis "free"),

from PIE *prijos "dear, beloved," from root *pri- "to love" (cognates: Sanskrit priyah "own, dear, beloved," priyate "loves;" Old Church Slavonic prijati "to help," prijatelji "friend;" Welsh rhydd "free").

Free includes debt-free!

Check bank account tonight andthen I'm going to donate tomorrow!

I have no excuses and I don't beleive in a free lunch so I'll be making an appropriate donation tomorrow, given that my wife has left some money in my checking account. If there is nothing in the old account then first thing next pay check I'll get off the "free Loader" status.

I just realized that it's morning back home, so please disregard

the tonight comment. I got a good chuckle out of my comment until I realized my time zone!LOL!!With love from the deserts of Oman!

OK,.........so I lied!

I dropped my first ever donation to the DP for $100.00 tonight instead and if my wife doesn't say anything over the next few days I think I'll be quite inclined to drop another $100.00.

Voter 160!

Please up-vote this thread to get it back to page one.

Aye, Aye, Captain

Thank you, Michael

from across the pacific.

No matter what you choose to do with the Daily Paul, I will be forever glad for the privilege to have been a part of your ark. I've learned many things and gained so much hope from Ron Paul, fellow Daily Paulers and especially you, the MAN.

I look forward to the day we make landfall--to a world where Peace, Gold and Love are everywhere.

Thank you always,

I believe in the freedom to be what we choose to be.

Thanks Michael - this site really is 'daily' for me.

I'm confident your work, and the combined efforts of this community, will play a significant role shaping a brighter future.

I'm curious as to why anyone

I'm curious as to why anyone would shut down a site that just raised 10 Grand in a week?

If (when?) the Daily Paul

If (when?) the Daily Paul shuts down, check out www.LibertyConservatives.com

It's a new forum dedicated to grassroots efforts, getting liberty candidates elected to local, state and federal positions, as well as the usual commenting on political, economic, and social issues like we do on here.

Idea for You

Maybe you'd like to list that website you love in your signature line? (I think that may be allowed?) Then it will be seen every time you comment on related things. ;) Just an idea...that I hope is helpful.

Now that!

That was gentle and nice. Well played Sir!

Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Um, thanks for the info...

but you're in Michael's home spamming all the threads with the competition. Once or twice was enough. We hope Michael chooses to stay. Would you please stop until then? (we almost have money through 12/31/14)

Thank you so much.

(Hope that sounded very gentle and nice, the way it was meant.)

Don't like forums

Forums are great for research (especially car forums) I really like to DP's format. (and will send a check soon) Easy to see all the new posts whereas forums spread posts across categories.

Some Reasons

No longer enough joy and purpose; too much work and grief.
No longer enough reward and remuneration; desire to do other things.

Bump for Freedom!

Can't you feel it coming?

We need you to get us back to page one, please!

Thank you! :)

More patience than I.

Will this help? ;)
