Ferguson, MO: Public Servants refuse to release name of Killer cop, for his safety.

The police officer being investigated for the shooting death of unarmed Missouri teen Michael Brown will not be identified due to concerns over his safety, Ferguson police said today.

Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson said there had been death threats made against the officer involved in the shooting, in which Brown, 18, was shot multiple times in Saturday afternoon.

The chief had originally planned to release the name today at a 1 p.m. press conference, but said he now hopes to release it once tensions in the town calm down.

my Opinion:
Sounds like a cover up so the police can come up with a "reasonable" lie to PTOA.
