Kinky Friedman: "...I'm Libertarian now." overheard on Outlaw Country

Was listening to Outlaw Country on SiriusXM on the ride home and Mojo Nixon had Kinkster on as a guest. Said he was for legalization, F! his detractors in Texas, used to be a Truman Blue-dog but was Libertarian now.

Thoughts?

Then they played "they don't make jews like jesus anymore."

I don't know, is he still

I don't know, is he still supporting Wendy Davis?

He is something else, funny how he managed to lose both of his recent Democrat primaries.

By quite a bit for

By quite a bit for Ag-Commissioner. Very strange even the Democrat elite don't like him.

Southern Agrarian

Unless he's changed a lot of his positions, he's just an

Anti-market liberal.
He is for putting more money into public schools, he is for subsidies to "green energy" companies, he wants to punish companies for hiring low wage workers who are illegals (which is beneficial to those who hire them... Let's see the what happens to the price of construction without illegals), he was against the Trans-Texas corridor((good), but only because the roAd would have been a private toll road, he had a plan to use Texans tax money to pay Mexican officials to slow down illegals entering into Texas , and I do believe he said no guns should have the capacity of more than 5 rounds.

That doesn't sound too "libertarian" to me.

I'd rather have a bottle in front o' me than a frontal lobotomy

I've enjoyed

his writing. I met him once. Nice guy. He's involved in animal rescue too, which is what we talked about mostly since I was walking a friend's dog.
