A 51-year old grandmother who was beaten nearly half to death on I-10 in Los Angeles has filed a federal civil rights lawsuit. Named as defendants are CHP officer Daniel L. Andrew, CHP Investigator Sean K. Taketa, & Commissioner Joseph Farrow. According to the lawsuit, Taketa, who is reportedly married to U.S. soccer star Shannon Boxx, "came to the witnesses residence several times and "treated him as though he were the suspect" and also asked "if he felt the traffic officer was using excessive force why didnt he step in to help."
