Jeb Bush's Pot Proposal

Jeb Bush(R-FL), with an eye on the 2016 race for the White House, has ruled that the war on drugs must NEVER end.

Newsmax Reports: "Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has slammed the ballot initiative legalizing medical marijuana, claiming it will tarnish the state's prestigious reputation as a tourist and retirement mecca.

The Florida pot proposal, which was approved by the state's Supreme Court, has gained widespread support and could help Democrats unseat Republican Gov. Rick Scott, who is up for re-election in a close midterm race. Scott opposes the initiative, while his Democratic challenger, former Gov. Charlie Crist, favors legalization."

Libertarian Adrian Wyllie(L-FL) supports ending Prohibition for medical [and] recreational use. This issue will drive many young freedom lovers to the polls on election day and Libertarians could easily have a Governor in the state of Florida.

Jeb must think that tourists have quit going to Colorado since PROHIBITION was eliminated. The truth is Copper Mountain is still there.

Borrow every penny you can get your hands on and support the Daily Paul and Florida's next Governor, Adrian Wyllie. The TIME is NOW.

Jeb Bush, how's your Aspen?

Just another in the line of Bush ANTI-LIBERTY RATS who...

...did about as much damage to the republic as FDR - but not as much as Woodrow Wilson - yet at least.

Nothing out of the mouths of any member of the Bush family means anything to me.

They are all bought and sold by the military-industrial-banking complex. And remember, Bush Sr. is ex CIA. 'nuff said there.

I expect the RNC/GOP to push hard for Jeb Bush in 2016 and slam Rand Paul at every turn.

Rand probably won't get the nomination, but I'm hoping we can blow this rotted party to pieces in the process.

Jeb: son of a CIA drug runner, Iran-Contra Poppy Bush.

(Why does anyone take this f*ck seriously anyway?)

What would the Founders do?

We need 60%

IIRC we need 60% to win, every indication is that support is around 80%. If it doesn't pass it will be due to vote fraud. Jeb is just playing a part, I bet all those NWO dudes are tokin' up... But I digress. As a Tampa native, I am tremendously excited about this. And there is tons of support for Adrian here, no one is happy with Scott and no one is really that excited about Crist again.

I used to work at a radio station where Adrian did a show, and I would bump into him from time to time. I already liked his politics, but I found him to be a genuinely likeable person and quite down to earth. He's got my vote he is clearly the best choice for anyone sick of what we have now.

The initiative will win in

The initiative will win in Florida, and everywhere else it is put on the ballot. Repukes like bush are dinosaurs...they need to disappear like them.

Retired people who have arthritis, glaucoma, cancer, etc...

are a decent proportion of consumers of legal medicinal marijuana.

Clearly, the Bush family has no close genetic ties to the Einsteins.

Reformed neocon

The Government

doesn't want us living. They want us dying. Duh! lol

Rick Scott is just terrible, and so is Bush obviously...

These kinds of guys have destroyed the republican party.

They are authoritarian-collectivists/socialists, and are everything wrong with the GOP today. They are not conservative at all. What constitutional liberties are they conserving? They have brought us down the "progressive" path towards more government controls and collectivist policies.

The state of Florida is a police-state. You think senior citizens don't want & need medicinal marijuana as well? Many of them need it more than the rest of the population. Tourism? Look at Colorado, bringing in hundreds of millions of dollars. Florida would be a great state to have recreational marijuana, and pot tourism. It would be a cash cow. Well over half the people who go vacationing bring their own marijuana anyway ;) ! Why not bring that revenue to the state!?

Bush, Scott, you guys are on the OUTS! You are dinosaurs. Nobody on the left or right agrees with Prohibition anymore! Only the statists who work for the corporatist government who have a personal stake in substance prohibition support the war-on-drugs still.

Are you a POT or a PET - Person Embracing Tyranny?

He is going to become

He is going to become obsolete. The drug war is starting to come to an end and there isnt a single thing he can do about it.

To climb the mountain, you must believe you can.

NewsFlash: pot-a-palooza

NBC reports yesterday: Year-over-year, there was a 73 percent traffic increase at Hotels.com among shoppers hunting for Denver rooms during the 4/20 festivities — and a 68 percent bump among travelers scouting for Seattle rooms during July, the first month of legal weed sales there, the site reports.

Florida has palm trees and Colorado and Washington don't. I think Jeb Bush is wrong and should forget about running against Rand in 2016.

A Libertarian who is NOT a Republican

Yea but, Republicans are saying don't vote for Adrian because it's a vote for the Democrats.

Florida can only have 2 choices say the media and Republicans.

They will all see soon.
