Breitbart Propaganda Attacking Rand PaulSubmitted by RG on Sun, 08/17/2014 - 10:47
08/17/2014 Republican elites must be running scared to come up with such poor propaganda in Beitbart against Republican Presidential heavyweight, Senator Rand Paul(R-KY). Robert Patterson, an old George W. Bush speech writer, is being paid way too much for his opinion of Rand Paul Republicans:
Patterson said that it is "another illustration of out-of-touch Republicans who are looking for love in all the wrong places" by "pandering to liberal and corporate elites instead of the middle america that the party needs to rebuild the center-right majority."
Patterson must love the police state. The Breitbart comments to this Republican-elite propaganda is, as to be expected from sheeple, in total agreement. Patterson would want Rand Paul Republicans to be listening to Karl Rove. Patterson does further assert: "Where’s all the sympathy, for example, from party 'strategists' like Karl Rove, former Gov. Haley Barbour, or Al Cardenas, former chair of the American Conservative Union?"
A much better opinion of American politics is from the Wall Street Journal by Peggy Noonan. Noonan accurately labels Hillary a Pro-War Democrat who has officially kicked off her 2016 campaign. But on the Republican side she can only come up with one name, Rand Paul. Noonan wrote: "On the Republican side, of course, no one's certain who's running; some of those who think they might won't, some who think they won't might. But, as a smart party veteran said the other day, the primaries could in time turn into Rand Paul Versus the Guy Who Isn't Rand Paul."
But Noonan does go crazy when she talks about the Republican-elites. Noonan said, "But what if the nominee were Rand Paul? And he went up against Mrs. Clinton? The Kentucky senator would, presumably, be to her left on foreign policy. That would be historic enough. But what would the GOP's establishmentarians, its money men and opinion shapers, do if the 2016 election came down to Mr. Paul versus a more moderate-seeming Hillary? They just might choose Mrs. Clinton."
Talk about bizarre. If Rand Paul Republicans ran the old guard out of the party that would be a good thing. If you need war, Hillary is your candidate.
