Here we go again, bombing an ideology and making new "radical terrorists."Submitted by pawnstorm12 on Wed, 08/20/2014 - 13:40
I don't know if that story of the U.S. journalist who ISIS claims to have beheaded is true or not.
But their point is well-taken; that continued U.S. intervention in the middle east will cause more blowback.
Remember the Bush arguments about how terrible Saddam was? And the daily lies from the White House designed to get American acceptance for an invasion of Iraq?
How is this any different?
Obama in the media saying the exact same things about ISIS so we can bomb away.
We have no business in that region and should just let it play out: The 7th Century fighting with the 7th Century.
More radicals will be made and Americans will be less safe both here and abroad AGAIN due to the action of the rogue CIA and misuse of the U.S. military by our government.
This is NOT about being "isolationists" as the GOP rats call us...
It's about staying the hell out of situations which are NOT matters of national defense.
It's about enriching the profiteers of wars; "defense" contractors, weapons-makers, military big-wigs, politicians, bankers etc.
You can't bomb away an ideology.
So once you start, you ultimately end up with exactly what the military-industrial complex wants; BOOTS ON THE GROUND followed by unending occupations and involvements.
Obama needs to RETURN his Nobel "Peace Prize" bacause his policies are not much different from those of Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld; Pre-emptive strikes, drone bombings, interventions, occupations, undelcared "wars" etc.
