Amagi Metals will not accept dollars after 2016

Amagi Metals, an online dealer in precious metals and coins, announced today that they will stop taking US dollars for payment at the end of 2016.

Since the dollar was decoupled from gold in 1971, it has lost 97% of its value compared to the yellow metal and 83% of its domestic purchasing power, and the trend shows no signs of stopping. Both investors and foreign governments have begun to lose confidence in the dollar’s future…and so has Amagi Metals. Thus, Amagi has planned that by the end of 2016, the company will no longer accept US dollars or other “fiat” currencies. Instead, Amagi plans to be trading exclusively in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.

Considering what happened

With the last company Kokesh was involved in - is this another one ?

For anyone that doesn't know TL;DR "One guy stole all the money", kokesh and the workers including the designer and co-owner apparently had no idea this guy was embezzling behind their backs. I would be highly suspicious.

I'm weary of bankers, and their sons. For those unaware look up pops kokesh. I know many here like conspiracies.

I wonder how many bitcoins Amagi currently owns

I think it is great that companies are starting to do this. I don't want our dollar to tank BUT I don't see any sign of it going up in value anytime soon ( outside of the fed artificially inflating its assumed value ).

Schiff after talking trash about bitcoins for two years started the same program a few months back.

Why would people trade a more volatile currency without taxes and regulation for one that does? Gold hasn't gone up in value in 3,4 years? Not too mention you cannot even travel with more than a coin or so, or internationally good luck.

I do bitcoin trading professionally now. So I might have a bias. 95% of the worlds gold is in the hands of banksters - so keep that in mind. I'm sure it won't ever effect the price.

We have a lot to do still

The current government would benefit from an economic collapse as people would flock to them for promises of food and shelter. A good resistance movement must be able to provide the same thing, food, shelter and protection.

We are not ready to do this yet, but I understand it's in the works.
