Who are you? or Who are you? (my name}

"I know you boys like em sloppy". The Lunch Lady

I meditate right before bed..

I go outside and smoke myself silly, have a glass of water, then go lay down in bed. When my eyes are closed the "vision" that exist is simply blackness with what looks like billions of very dim stars. As you relax and focus on the "vision" shapes, patterns, and movement starts to appear. The longer you concentrate and focus on that vision the clearer it will become. I would tell you the things I have seen, but then I would be considered a true nut. Every once in a while, when in a deep state, there will be a somewhat loud yet soft woman's voice that will say my name. EVERY single time that happens I instantly pop up and look around, often going to check on my kids and make sure nobody is around. It's very strange indeed.

The weirdest part is if I start thinking to myself (talking to myself in my head) while deep in meditation..the progress instantly starts reversing and I move back through the swirly shapes and patterns, and finally ending just like I started. Blackness with billions of dull star like lights.

I've often wondered if these things happen to people who have the discipline to actually sit and meditate the "real way".

So there you go...my "I could be nuts" post of the day. :)

You won't believe this but, I clearly remember

when I was a baby going to sleep in my crib, I would close my eyes and see the same thing you described. I always waited for the circle of stars, from left to center, to approach me. Then I would fall asleep. No voices, but... never mind.

I do believe you..

When I was very little, I would have re occuring dreams that seemed like rolls of carpet were coming at me constantly and I would wake up in a panic. This was very early in life, and well before Donkey Kong. Your description is very very similar to what I experience, but it becomes like you are staring at pixels that then morph into an actual "scene" that you are observing from far away. If I was to guess what remote viewing would be like, this would be it.

What is it? What purpose does it have?

Not remotely interested in this, but

his voice is the most relaxing voice I've heard in a while. It was so calming to just listen to him talk. The only person I've heard who can beat this is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxYPU18vovQ. The ultimate master of relaxing me.
