Forgotten natural allies.Submitted by Absolute Rights on Thu, 08/21/2014 - 15:11
Let's stick together, even if we disagree.
I accept that there would be so much more abundance and individual liberty even if YOUR way became THE way. And therefore I can ally and work with you.
The the flaws of your philosophy will become very easy for both of us to see as we make it a reality...when the cracks begin to show in your method, we will take what works, disregard what doesn't, and innovate anew.
And the exact same thing can be said for my philosophy as well!
HOWEVER, we will never get a chance to fulfill our potential and realize our philosophy of individual liberty if we don't come together, stick together, and ally ourselves with one another.
I believe the solution is radically simple:
1) Constitutionally restrict the power of EVERY legislature that occupies OUR continent. (no we don't have that now)
-Divest them of the power to initiate nonconsensual harm.
-Divest them of the power to regulate our contracts.
-Divest them of the power to license our work.
-Divest them of the power to grant blanket limited liability status.
-Divest them of the power to tax.
-Divest them of the power to conscript.
-Essentially, limit them to managing certain infrastructure.
2) Have an truly INDEPENDENT judiciary.(no we don't have that now)
-Where all parties have EQUAL standing.
-A true grand jury
-A true independent magistrate handle proceedings
-A true disinterested jury our peers
3) Make certain the individual has an absolute right to have with them armaments equal to any prevailing military force and to use them against any initiator of nonconsensual harm...regardless of who they are.(no we don't have that now)
That's where I stand right now. Can you see that I want to achieve individual liberty in one generation...
Can we stick together and work through problems as the flaws in my method become apparent? I am willing.
Will you stay open minded and be willing to through the flaws in your method as they become apparent? I am willing.
If we share the same ultimate goal of individual liberty, and are willing to work together, doesn't that make us natural allies?
