Only thing

mind blowing is that someone actually had their mind blown by this nonsense.

It is a novel thought pattern

I have never heard anything like this before any where before or since.

The novelty and congruency of reason is what is mind blowing.

The most powerful Law of Nature is Time. It is finite and we all will run out of it. Use this Law to your advantage, for it offers you infinite possibilities...

What

nonsense?

I heard some speculative things, but nothing I could tag as nonsense.

I'm OK

.. your OK

Don't Give me Liberty, I'll get up and get it myself!

7 years

So if there was a harbinger in early September 2001 and late August 2008, does that mean another one is due in early August 2015 (next year)? Was there one in 1994 (besides Newt Gingrich)?

Interesting that Washingon...

...was cited regarding his warning about turning from God. Washington, in his farewell address, also warned this:

"So likewise, a passionate attachment of one nation for
another produces a variety of evils. Sympathy for the
favorite nation, facilitating the illusion of an imaginary
common interest in cases where no real common interest
exists, and infusing into one the enmities of the other,
betrays the former into a participation in the quarrels and
wars of the latter, without adequate inducement or justi-
fication. It leads also to concessions to the favorite nation
of privileges denied to others, which is apt doubly to injure
the nation making the concessions, by unnecessarily part-
ing with what ought to have been retained, and by exciting
jealousy, ill-will and a disposition to retaliate, in the par-
ties from whom equal jirivileges are withheld."

This is where I get all

This is where I get all glassy eyed. In my life I've heard so many different "experts" claim that "the Bible" says this is going to happen and that is going to happen - and it doesn't. I don't even bother to spend the time to listen anymore because I can be pretty sure they are wrong just because I've heard 100 others who were wrong. I really don't think that God is going to tell these guys anything special and if I'm wrong, what's the penalty for not listening to them?? Is my God going to cast me aside because I didn't bother to listen to some men who claimed they had some special knowledge? I will look to my heart...

The God I worship is capable

The God I worship is capable of seeing to it that his word can be passed through time without the need for "special" people to interpret it's meaning. Gods word is literal.

I think the lessen here is to pay attention to how God has judged a nation in the past(old testament).

ChristianAnarchist's picture

I also believe that God is

I also believe that God is "capable" of anything. The problem is there are many "translations" out there to chose from. Which one is God's "official" one? Then there's people who speak other languages. Which "translation" do they use? Do you think translation is easy? If you have any sentence in another language and put 10 translators to the task of translating it they will likely come up with 10 different translations. I'm sure they will be "close", but which one is "exact"? Then we have to add the additional problem of time. These things were not written in current day language but 2000 year old language. No one alive today could possibly say for sure that they know what nuances were back then. I'm not saying that the translations we have aren't close. I'm sure they are as close as could be expected when you factor in the time differential and language differential. It's close, but not perfect...

yes

look to your heart where the One church is...

Again, this isn't Bible prophecy

The title is misleading. The Bible foretells nothing about the U.S., and the interview makes that clear

It's interesting parallels (similarities) -- how God judged Old Testament Israel could be a lesson for what has been happening to the U.S. today. Since God never changes, how can anyone say His judgments change?

The book of Isaiah is not

The book of Isaiah is not about America, it is about Israel. There is nothing mind blowing here, it is what many generations do, they think prophecies about Israel are prophecies about themselves.

So you didn't watch the interview, then.

Never did he say that he thinks the Isaiah prophecy is about America. In fact, he was clear that the prophecy in Isaiah was a FULFILLED prophecy about the Israel of the Bible, i.e. the destruction of the temple and Jerusalem in 70 AD, which everyone knows about. He talked about the parallels regarding judgments and warnings.

Of course America is not in the Bible, but that doesn't mean that God no longer judges nations in a similar way that He judged Old Testament Israel.

Maybe you should watch the film. It's really interesting.

Why not?

You raise a good point when you suggest nations are egocentric, and that we tend to read the Word totally out of historical context so we can project any message we want onto ourselves.

That being said, don't we read the different books of the Bible to learn something about God's character, and understand what's he's trying to say through our circumstances? Why be surprised to find parallels between the way God treated an unrepentent Isreal and the way he treats the U.S.... or myself?

The video's main message was a call to repentence, but if you want more evidence and info on the topic, it's there, search "harbringer" on youtube. History does not repeat itself, but boy does it rhyme.

Cheers!

"And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free"

Nations are not egocentric,

Nations are not egocentric, there are only individuals.

That is collectivist nonsense.

You make a fair point, so let me clarify

Maybe the term "nation" was too broad. I only agreed that various generations forget the context of Biblical history and think it's all about themselves in an inaccurate way. In that sense, that is egocentric behavior by a group of inviduals.

So for me to say individuals can be egocentric about the same thing at the same time, would that be "collectivist nonsense", or just a sad reality?

"And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free"

The proposition I see

is that Divine law like Natural law works in a very specific way.

If Divine law works in a very specific way then the cause and effects would manifest themselves in some recognizable pattern within nature.

My search is not one of religion or prophecy but one of how real law actually works. It is self-evident to me that Divine law is real and I have seen several patterns in which it manifests into nature.
This rabbi seems to be proposing the same concepts I have found on my own but related to a different aspect that I have not seen until his observation.

This blew my mind but probably not for any reasons you have observed.

The most powerful Law of Nature is Time. It is finite and we all will run out of it. Use this Law to your advantage, for it offers you infinite possibilities...

I cannot watch the video since im at work

but even without watching it, I can speak on this...

Your right that it speaks of Israel, is it really a wonder that the most powerful nations always fall for the exact same reason?

Isaiah 3 sets it up.

4 I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.(How many kids today get what they want? I don't wanna go here, I wanna go there, I don't like that food!"

6 When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand:(One of the biggest complaints I heard from my own family about Ron Paul was that he was too old. People are superficial and they would rather have the guy with great hair and a nice suit over someone that would do them right.)

9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not.(How many people see the wickedness, and we watch in awe as people in power get away with their crimes)

12 As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.(How many women are not only the authority, but the breadwinners of a household today, and the men are lazy?)

14 The Lord will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.(The first thing is he makes them poor)

16 Moreover the Lord saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:(Women become far less lady like and turn to sex and the physical pleasures of the world)

25 Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.(Self explanatory)

These are all actions by which a nation is under judgement. Even if it wasn't a Holy book, we can accept that the book is correct in projecting a nations destruction when these actions happen.

When two organized religions join to push an agenda, watch out!

Their agenda is to distract and to divert people's attention away from their respective government's tyranny. These men want people scrutinizing the Bible for more hidden meanings that only they know best. They do not want people questioning their own government's involvement in false-flag events and international terrorism. Look in the Bible for the answers. Don't look askance at your government. The Bible says, follow what your government tells you to do. Obey them, don't question them.

No joining there...

Both men are Christians. One is in slight disguise until the very end of the video.

LOL you took all that from

LOL you took all that from the posted video? I didn't hear them say to follow any government. I took from the video that it is more than likely the evil in government.

SteveMT's picture

Re-watch first 40 seconds of the video.

That sets the stage for what follows.

From the beginning I thought

From the beginning I thought that guy was really a pastor and not a rabbi. What do they call that in marketing? Bait and switch?

not really..

Jesus was called Rabbi as well.
John 3:2
He came to Jesus at night and said, "Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him."

Pastor/Rabbi/Shepard/Teacher... pretty much interchangeable terms if you take the 'religious' glasses off.

Pastor Jimmy Evans and the

Pastor Jimmy Evans and the Author of the book is a Rabbi what is bait and switch?

SteveMT's picture

The terrorists may indeed be reading Isiah. Why not!

Especially if the "terrorists" are forces within the US and Israeli governments, then 9/11 was just a self-fulfilling prophesy. These prophesies did not blow my mind. These people in government made them happen for they had the power to make them happen. All of these prophesies may only represent a random verses taken out of context, ...again. This is a slickly-made video attempting to use the Bible to get people believing in magical thinking and the supernatural, imo. It's contrived, attempting to make the Bible fit events.

sure Steve

all of it... contrived, 'made' to fit.
What gets me is that 'they' are STILL doing it.
I mean... they started this deception almost 2000 years ago...
yunno... 'contrived' to crucify Jesus exactly so it would 'fit' to stuff written almost an additional 1000 years before it actually happened. These guys just never give up do they?

Psalm 22:16-18

16 Dogs surround me,
a pack of villains encircles me;
they pierce my hands and my feet.
17 All my bones are on display;
people stare and gloat over me.
18 They divide my clothes among them
and cast lots for my garment.

the vinegar to drink was a nice touch too..

Psalm 69:21

21 They put gall in my food
and gave me vinegar for my thirst.

They are so devious I mean... they got like 44 OTHER things exactly right about just the crucifixion.

Right?
Wrong. It would take more 'faith' to believe that all was contrived
than to simply understand we are talking about someone who exists outside a linear time domain and sees the end from the beginning.
He doesn't simply HAVE lots of time... HE exists OUTSIDE of it.
He LITERALLY can see the end from the beginning Steve.. prophecies are ez for Him.

Just relax Steve. You can believe whatever you want. But prophecy is a simple concept. We watch and we wait. We look for a 'list' of certain things come to pass (found in Mathew 24).
And you needn't worry... these will be impossible to contrive.
G.

Just more proof ...

You can make the Bible say what ever you want it to.
I wonder if Pastor Jimmy Evans would be interested in anything this Rabbi has to say?

http://youtu.be/LBSRiwy4T7k

Can you make the bible say it

Can you make the bible say it is okay not to beleive in God? Anything right?

BTW some don't consider Jesus the messiah they (some) wait for the evil messiah to come.

Powerful stuff

Solid research, clear explanation, positive message. Its understandable to be skeptical of modern day false prophets but this messenger reeks of truth. I see no fault in this video. Anyone else?
