They are working to get something on the blog RIGHT NOW.

I TRIED to change the title of my topic as SOON as someone asked. .By the time I got it changed the topic was already removed.
SO - RON PAUL will be in Victoria tomorrow at 3PM and doing the MTV debate VIA Satellite.

Why isn't he going to be at the MTV studio's!!! This will probably be his only chance to get some questions and there will be millions of people watching this. If he comes in from Satellite, it will look like he doesn't really care!!

Ron needs to be there in person.
No one comes off good in sateilite interviews. The campaign should fly Ron off to the MTV studios, like they did for Leno.
The guy can't be two places
The guy can't be two places at one time. Its not worth spending hours flying to the MTV studio (wherever that is) just to (maybe) get a slightly better interview.
His schedule is full- he'll be in Texas in the morning, Denver in the evening, and two other states the following day- there is no room for spending hours flying out and back to NY (or wherever MTV broadcasts).

Please people. Those of you who are writing on this forum that Dr. Paul will be at the MTV debate, which is interpreted as being physically there, please stop posting this.
Dr. Paul is running a congressional campaign as well. People in his district, as well as meet-up groups in the surrounding counties, have heard about this rally and are expected to attend. After reading all the comments and threads about him not being here WILL in turn affect the turnout!
His congressional seat here is not for certain since he has an opponent running, who supposedly is spreading word that he doesn't care about his district because of the national campaign. This will help prove him wrong!
I wish his campaign headquarters would get off their you know whats and put a stop to this. All they would have to do is put up a few text words on his site SOMEWHERE.

There has not been anyone (including myself) that has said in the old forums that Dr. Paul was not going to be in Victoria.
What people did have questions on was the OLD THREAD that tonianne originally posted that DECLARED that Ron Paul would not be attending the MTV forum.
There were many of us that brought up numerous times that Dr. Paul could be at both places at the same time. This happens all the time via satellite.
We asked for the heading to be changed and it wasn't and this is why people got frustrated and wondered if this was just propaganda to keep Dr. Paul from getting an audience in New York.
You have to understand that when all this was happening (the old thread) it was during the lunch hour when alot of people check in and see what is on the forum boards.
We are all in this for the same purpose ....to see that Dr. Paul wins.
With that said, I hope you have a wonderful rally in Victoria, and I hope Dr. Paul has a great turnout in New York to support him.

Also, I want to commend you on how you handled being called out like that. Everyone should pay attention to how an adult responds to a misunderstanding. Albeit a hostile one indeed, but you understand how sensitive your fellow Ron Paulers are to the scum trolls that try to get us angry at each other or subvert our activities and I'm glad to see you turned a negative into a positive. To the person that called her a troll, I also applaud your willingness to protect this sacred site by calling suspected trolls to task. i would however allow the person to correct a perceived sour post first, then let the guns blaze if the response is "troll like". But all in all great interaction folks, our bond cannot be broken with little misunderstandings and infighting. We are far to bright to allow them to get in our heads.

I don't know about the MTV thing, but the rally in Victoria has been confirmed for a while. The VIctoria, TX meetup group sent a confirmation message to other area meetups about a week ago.
A bunch of us are meeting at our new grassroots headquarters in San Antonio and heading to the meeting.

I am sorry about all the confusion, but you also have to understand that we asked repeatedly for more than 30 minutes to an hour for the heading to be changed....(the urgency was b/c it was the lunch hour during high traffic time).....and when our responses were not replied too we all thought that this was a troll spreading false info.
In the mouthes of 2 or 3 witnesses a thing shall be established....obviously you have many witnesses that you are a hardworking Ron Paul supporter. I want to say that I am sorry for calling you a troll. I also want to thank you again for all that you have done for Dr. Paul.
