I am a life long Democrat

I have been backing Ron Paul since early Aug. I saw one video and said, "I finally found a guy I want to vote for" and that was that. I know most of you don't believe this but there are such things as conservative Democrat's. I have been leery of Republicans from the first time I could vote. Even though I never knew what it was called I always knew in my gut that Corp. and Government mixing together could never be a good thing for the average Joe. Now I know that is because it is fascism. Being an American kid I never liked seeing my people (that means any of you my patriots) suffer. I have a liberal heart. It doesn't mean I want to steal from someone else to help the less fortunate though. It has taken 40 years of me working my butt off and being robbed through my high taxes to realize that I am the food for this. It feeds on me. I am done allowing others to steal my ability to help others. The leaders of this nation assume they know were my money should be spent to help the most. I argue they don't even know what it’s like to be, hungry, cold, or in debt. I unfortunately fell for this attack on my liberal heart until I realized they steal from hard working taxpayers to pay the interest on money they have printed. They stick me with the bill then dole out the cash (bribe) in the form of subsidies to win people over to their philosophy. They also undermine the value of our money by producing more currency. Thus making the dollar worthless. Once they devalue our money then it is fit to be trickled down to the little people. Only now it is not really worth anything and buys very little. I believe that Ronald Reagan was duped. I believe he had a liberal heart and really did want to help all people. When the idea of trickle down economics was brought up to him I'm sure they told him this would help the rich and the poor. Look at how much money will end up in the hands of the little guy. I'm sure no-one stopped to say of course the dollar won't be worth anything by the time it gets to them. This is why the elite’s loved Ronald Reagan he was useable. I believe we must be both conservative and liberal, Conservative in our spending and liberal in our hearts. I believe this is what Ron Paul is. Only he is aware of the dupe. I owe RP a big Thank You for making all those things (I felt in my bones but did not fully understand) clear to me and easy to understand. When I voted Democrat I never wanted to be part of a collective. This is socialism at it's finest. The next step to this move is full out communism were we (the little people) will be told what car we will drive how big our house should be for our side family. What to eat (rationing) and given an allowance for a wage (of course figured by them). Folks you have three choices here fascism, communism, or freedom. There can be no world order under our (the USA's) type of freedom because it comes with a pair of shekels (which thank God half of our forefathers where smart enough to fight for) called the Bill of Rights. This is such a formidable force it has taken them 100 years of plotting and planning to whittle it down to something that can be attacked and conquered. This has been a multi tiered campaign on our liberties. There are three stumbling stones to world domination. Different types of Government's, Different types of economy, and different types of Religion. The strongest of all three of these has existed in one place for over 200 years. You guessed it right here in the old USA. This whole thing starts with a huge success in our economy. Everyone says they hate us for our freedom and prosperity (of course they are talking about radical Islam). The truth of the matter is the one's that hate these qualities, are actually the small number of people that prospered from our free market Economy in the industrial age. At the same time they where becoming rich from our system and enlightenment was also rising up. A search for knowledge led to new ideas, some good some bad. We all know the good they make sure to teach us these in school, plus we all have heard the stories of the Great revivals where the Holy Spirit was poured out on a great many of our nation. The bad on the other hand, never brought up. The worst of all of them was actually not a new idea. It was an old Idea from another single man who found himself with great power and wealth at his fingertips. The ideology was, thought to be, stopped with the defeat of nazi Germany’s Hitler. It is called Eugenics (I will not cover this it is to large a subject. Study it on your own.) Another Ideology came along a little before the turn of the 20th century Called Darwinism. Darwin is known as the father of the Ideology of Evolution and Survival of the Fittest. As the rich became even richer People started to study the mind and the beginning stages of psychiatry where already forming. By the time the man named Hitler was introduced to these ideas they had found that the mind could be manipulated. This in the hands of a rich powerful madman could only spell one thing DISASTER. After his defeat in WWII the idea of manipulating the mind was very taboo. While most of the world cringed at the idea of using mind manipulation for power, the rich were fascinated by the prospect. They pumped millions into the study of psychiatry. They also spent millions fighting to legitimize psychiatry. Doctor’s fought it tooth and nail. They saw it as no more than voodoo, witchcraft, or satanic worship. This is interesting, in light of the time in which we now live. Have you ever watched the old TV shows and laughed. Leave it to beaver time period is a good example. Everything on the TV was oh so good and pure. Most people back then thought that it was a devil box. Can you imagine if the people from that time period watched the TV of today? The rich quickly saw that this market was ripe for the picking, using it to market their products. With the industrial boom many workers started to fight for higher wages. Eventually leading to Unions (collective bargaining). The Union’s slowly became a force to be reckoned with. The rich also took notice of this phenomenon and would use it for their own gain in the form of lobbying. The money thrown at politicians would lead to the corruption of the Government officials. It would also lead to officials becoming rich themselves and causing a conflict of interest. This merger of power, wealth, and influence quickly gave rise to a fascist mentality. The rebirth of the nazi Eugenics mindset now a reality once again. These men felt like they could improve on the Eugenics of the past so they set out with a plan to master the World. Think about how many think tanks there are and organizations offering money in the form of grants to everything from Genetics studies to the public school system. When these non-for-profit organizations give money they usually want access of some type (bribe for access). Think about how many different things in this world are now affected by these types of groups and how psychiatry plays a large part in all of society. Religion has also been attacked for over 100 years. There was a great schism in 1913 after the great revival. As one group claimed to have found enlightenment through the receiving Holy Spirit. And claimed that the belief in trinity was not Biblical. People had finally been free for long enough to challenge the strongest establishments. Freedom of Religion was live and well in our great nation. The creation of TV aloud the Rich to come into our homes and to entice us to buy things never really needed before. To buy the things offered required great sacrifice and hard work. We struggled to have the American Dream and all that went with it. As we prospered many started to become businessmen and started to become rich themselves, this produced competition. Unions were gaining better wages for the common worker. The established wealthy were now under attack. The creation of the Federal Reserve was an attempt to gain control of the markets to help keep the wealth in the hands of the elect few. They later crashed the stock market to bring about one of the biggest thefts in history. Religion was about all that people had at this time to fall back on. It helped keep people strong through this nations’ worst Economic disaster. There were other time periods the nation had to rely on its faith, like WWI and WWII. Despite all these obstacles the people always rebounded. Despite the Economic sabotage and corruption in the Government they always had faith to rebuild, compete, and prosper. As long as the people had there faith there was no stopping them from excelling. As long as they had Rights there was no way to force them be content with just what they had. And as long as they elected the Government, there power was the bigger force of the two sides. Are you starting to wake up? Are you starting to see where we are now? Are you starting to see where we are going? If: you answered yes? Welcome to the Ron Paul movement. If: you answered no? God help us. Cause the persecution we will receive will be unbelievable.

As you might imagine....

I have had lengthy discussions in email over this, some of them were not very pleasant (not originating from me) as I attempted to explain my query about why such an org, funded by such a person's group, would 'seem' to endorse Ron Paul.

I was told that they do NOT endorse him per se. Now that makes it even more strange. Certainly they don't think that with all the controversy surrounding Ron being the only GOPer to oppose the war, that people don't know about it?

If you look at their website, their sole purpose in organizing was to defend Bill Clinton when he was disgracing the nation, and now to attack Republicans. It's a regular Republican hate-fest. They are to me, a hate group. So, being politically experienced I had to be suspect at this 180 they've done. I mean you saw how Olbermann could not mention Ron in his piece lest he look like a hypocrite? We shall see.

Please remember that Ron is polling at 5% in NH, and that's JUST GOP sure to vote in the primaries voters. Sure we have the Indies and some Dems, but we cannot afford to lose even ONE of those GOPers, can we?

Ron Paul...does a body good.

Todays political scene is like a dumpster. When I was a kid, I rode my bike around the back of stores sifting through dumpsters, always finding that gem that was thrown out either by accident or intentionally. This ad is a gem in a pile of rubbish...rubbish being the political scene in general.

Why does Ron Paul attract so many, from such a diverse group - from Chuck Baldwin to MoveOn.org? He's the political meat and potatoes of our day - served up to starving generations of disillusioned diners. All we've had politically to chew on, for years, equates to empty carbs, saturated fats, white sugars, artificial sweeteners, and genetically-engineered food. So when a good, home-cooked, organic, down-on-the-farm meal comes our way, you can't blame anyone for wanting to sit at the table.

Ron Paul's got somethin' ummmmm goood for all Americans - forget milk...Ron Paul...does a body good!

excellent ad

And it shows RP well. However its audience isn't voters who will vote republican. Its pointing out that RP is the only one who gets it, thus showing the dem voters that they are right in supporting the dems.
Its doesn't show the Dem Hawks (All of them except the third tier candidates), and thus suports the idea that RP won't get elected. After all he's a thrid tier candidate too.

Sigh. ITs still a great add, and it might o some good in the DEm heartland where it will be seen

The point is... some of

The point is... some of these folks WILL research Ron Paul.. and WILL DONATE and come aboard...

You may not know this... but there are ALL READY many members of groups like that here all ready!!!.... but EVEN MORE that don't know anything about the good Dr. yet.... YET!!

As for loosing supporters over a group like this... Dr. Ron Paul supporters tend not to be the fickle or petty type... Supporting someone because of who opposes them or vice versa is not the ron paul supporter!!

We know our candidate is not petty... why should we be...

tv add

Please quit worrying about this ad. Watch the ad and then look at the website to go to at the end. Does it say Moveon.org? NO! An umbrella group of moveon is just one of many of the organizations paying for this ad. This is what we want! Others paying for Ron Paul's message! Sit back and enjoy the ride, I could care less about what the neo-conservatives say on their tv and radio stations. If Jesus Christ was here speaking against the war, these same idiots would be attacking him.

GO RON PAUL!!

Jane! Jaaaaane!

Jane: you need to lighten up. The Ron Paul Freedom Train is open to all who wish to board. By what fiction of paranoid delusion are you seeing the MoveOn.org ad as an attack? What in the ad is untrue? How does it cast Dr. Paul in a negative light? How can it not but help the Freedom Message? Relax, do some yoga and take a breath. Are you that concerned about what Dobson or Hannity might spin or think? Since when were they champions of Constitutional liberty anyway? And I say this as a Christian pastor of a Bible church. Seriously, calm down and let the revolution roll forward. This is a good thing. I love you, Jane. Keep the faith.

I have never agreed with MoveOn.org before....

... but I have to admit that I liked that ad. I don't believe that they did this out of a desire to hurt Dr. Paul, but even if they did... It is a good ad for him.

Of course, I would even welcome attack ads from Rudy, Mitt, and company... Anything to help get the word out to more people.

This is Awesome!

Living in Seattle I have many Democrat and otherwise "progressive" friends who would never vote for a Republican. Perhaps this will change their minds. With Hillary and Obama talking about expanding the war to Iran, Ron Paul really is the ONLY anti-war candidate and its about time the anti-war people from all political persuasions get on board!

There is NOTHING negative about this ad. Nothing at all.

Go Ron Paul!

Whether or Not you agree with MoveOn.org...

This is a great, GREAT Ad. The music is perfect for it, it is set up perfectly, the sound bites are perfect....When the music starts picking up as RP is talking (especially when he says the bit about "personal liberties"), wow, got a wee bit of a chill, a proud chill. I'm not afraid to admit that, either. I couldn't love this ad more than I do, it is VERY powerful.

RP '08

It's not a moveon.org ad.

It's not a moveon.org ad.

True...

I guess what I meant to say is that whether or not you believe in the political positions of the sponsors of this ad, then you will like it.

The part....

where he says "it is a ROAD to disaster." Excellent work with the music and background there. I think Stephen Colbert would agree that this ad appeals to the "gut" and that you "feel" this ad more than you "think it."

RP is smart, and his message appeals to smart individuals. Nothing wrong with appealing to the "feel" of this ad...outfreakingstanding.

4 months ago if you told me that I would be analyzing a political ad, I would've told you that you were crazy.

I can say it now for sure...the revolution is ON...

RP '08 and '12

Great ad

Shoot, man, this just shows how Ron Paul's message of freedom brings people together. I don't see how anything but good can come from an ad of this sort. Good for moveon.org, I say, and welcome to the Ron Paul Revolution!

Did anyone happen to notice

how well made and effective this ad is? Maybe the RP campaign could hire these MoveOn folks to make some ads for the upcoming primaries.

Nothing to worry about

It makes no difference who is behind this ad. The problem with Moveon.org is that they are basically a Democratic organization. Any partisan group who attacks another viewpoint will immediately be villafied by the opposing viewholder, which negates the validity of all arguments.

This ad is pure fact! Ron is THE only anti-war candidate, and the public deserves to know that there is a Republican who doens't agree and will end this war.

Nothing negative can come from this ad. Let Hannity and his kind try to bash Ron over this. #1, Ron didn't pay for this, it was independently produced. #2, it's all true, so what argument could they make? #3, Hannity's listeners, and Limbaugh's, and Levin's, aren't going to vote for Ron in the primaries anyway, so who cares what THEY think?

I am ok with it

Not a big fan of moveon, but I think its okay that they make the tv ads for Paul

my Democratic friends

I have several Democratic friends who like Dr. Paul, but can in no way support a Republican. A couple of them have donated to Moveon.org. They are absolutely disgusted at the Democratic majorities in the Congress doing nothing to stop this evil war.

Maybe, just maybe- this will finally push them to support Dr. Paul. I am working on them.

MoveOn.org Ad & Hannity

This is not the first questionable endorsement that Dr.Paul's campaign had to deal with. Other similar fringe support has not been derided by the Paul campaign. Dr Paul simply states that it is not he who is associated with these supporters but that these supporters are attracted to his message. Acknowledgement of this support, is not a quid pro quo. Only a fool would assume that the support is reciprocal. Alex Jones supports Dr. Paul and has had him as a guest on Prison Planet. Does it follow then, that Dr. Paul agrees with every position that Alex takes? We need to get this message out. This ad, on face value, is beneficial since it may reach an audience that is not readily accessible to us. Those who would seek to taint Dr. Paul because of this support are those who would also never vote for Dr. Paul. Hannity et al will, of course, try to make hay with this but only the 'Hannitized' KoolAid drinkers will listen.

Go Dr. Paul.....We will not be contained.

There are many

There are many of us, for sure, that don't have such problems with moveon.org. I don't always like that they blindly support Democrats, but I do appreciate the war against the war profiteers and the machine. Let's face it. It is about time they got on board with Ron Paul. I hope it is not too late.

And maybe they can ostracize the pro abortion wing and split them out of the group, seeing as how most of them are less than attractive people.

I'm on the same side as moveon.org ... ahh.. damm that's kinda disturbing.. but they are right, we must end this war.

Mayne-Streem Media

I thought it was a great ad. I hope it gets a lot of circulation.

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

This is both good and bad.

GOOD 1.Democrats like many Republicans are getting fed up with their party not listening to them either. Don't automatically assume that this is an attack. Moveon.org has been highly critical of the Dem's less than assertive attempts at trying to end the war. This is their way of sending the Dem's a message "there are other options out there, not just you Dem's."

GOOD 2.Moveon.org can raise some serious cash. If they plug Ron Paul it may add to the cash flow. The add came out today, and today we have the highest amount raised for Dr. Paul in the 4th quarter. Coincedence, probably, but if it happens again, we may have to rethink.

GOOD 3.This will lead more poeple to hear our message of peace, freedom, prosperity, and honest friendships with all nations. How can that be bad?

BAD 1. Yes, so Shawntee Hannity does a story about it, he mocks us either way. The neocon puppets that listen to his show aren't going to respond to our message either way, the people at moveon.org may.

To say that Dr. Paul wouldn't associate with them I think is poor form. Remember, just because he appears on someone's website or tv show doesn't mean that he supports their views, it just means that he is there to give his view. Nothing Moveon.org said was either: unprofessional, untrue, or defamatory, we ought to be thanking them for not being partisan toadies. This is simply another example of the message getting out, hopefully Dr. Paul get on The View next. Remember a vote from a Democrat counts just as much as a vote from a Republican.

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

Good Analysis

I enjoyed your view of the ad and would probably say you hit the target in the bullseye at what will happen from it.
The neocons will exploit it, and so will the Democrats if they feel some of there base is moving towards Paul.
They will pretty much do a 180 if that happens but hopefully Demos who do switch to Paul will see that Paul means what he says and is not saying something he doesn't intend to do just to get elected.

Sean Hannity?

Sean did a story on it? Can you point me to that?

Sorry.

My point was that Shawntee Hannity COULD do a story on it. He has not yet that I know of. I'll be more clear next time.

Kudos to Move On

Their support of RP proves that they are an entity of Americans and not a propaganda machine sponsored by some special interest. I welcome them to the Revolution.
There's really only a small percentage of Americans that believe pro wrestling is unscripted...We're never going to get their vote anyway.
It's time for the "many" to come together and let the left right argument fade away to some dank corner in the basement.
While we sit on our asses and blog about how stupid this war is, Move On folks are out getting their skulls thumped to stop this war. I welcome them whole heartedly.

Special Interest

"Not a propaganda machine sponsored by some special interest..."?

They are exactly that -- funded by George Soros's propaganda machine for his 'open society' -- so no wonder people have been approaching me asking if he has taken dirty money!

They are the biggest special interest group there is...pushing world government and socialism under the guise of about 553 groups.

There really should be a disclaimer saying it was paid for by them and not approved by the candidate.
