Why isn't Limbaugh supporting Ron Paul? What could the excuse possibly be now?

Liberal Media Bias
Let him know that he is now part of it.

Limbaugh? Who dat? Sounds
Limbaugh? Who dat? Sounds German....
Many Years Ago He Sold Out
To the Establishment. I remember a long time ago when G.H.W. Bush was running for reelection and Rush came out and endorsed Buchanan. Rush was sick of the liberal bills Bush Sr. was signing into law. Then Rush was invited to the White House by Bush Sr. and his tune changed.
I believe that Limbaugh is a pawn to espouse "conservative" ideas that really aren't conservative. He is the mouthpiece for the Republican side of the Establishment all the while keeping the conservatives in this country in line.
He used to preach about the Founding Fathers, the Constitution, goodness, less government, but now is a neo-con. Maybe he always was. All these years GW has been in office, he has never come out and directly opposed or exposed any of GW's tyrannical power grabs. He blames "the Administration" for bad decisions but never GW by name.
that's right, Limbaugh changed from iconoclast to
just another Republican establishment mouth. I attribute part of it to the "rich and famous" syndrome, wanting to be invited into the inner sanctum of power, be liked by the people at the chic restaurants in NY, blah blah. He also became a pure war hawk. Lost me a long time ago, though I do fondly remember the days he was the lone voice on radio lambasting the 40-year democratic reign in the US House.
You might want to sit down...
finally realizing that you've been lied to all these years is a bitter pill to swallow.
Spare me and please get real
Spare me and please get real will you?
The point is to solicit the backing not to play games.
Find a way to get the endorsement. It's meaningful.

Rush
The station Rush is on is owned by Romney.
I find it hard to believe
I find it hard to believe that Limbaugh isn't part owner. Do you know how much he makes a year? I heard its north of 60 million a year.

Rush is a neocon.
However, his fill-in host for yesterday, Jason Lewis, basically called out for a return to the values upon which America was founded. Either he was under instructions from Rush not to endorse Paul or else the instructions came from higher up. He did not mention Paul although a caller brought up his name briefly.
New Hampshire and Ecuador
He's rooting for Romney
But deep down, he would love to see Hillary win ... which would do wonders for his ratings

True, He doesn't give a
True, He doesn't give a crap about this country. He knows Ron Paul is the only guy for the job. I suspect Rush's unrelenting favor of the war would stop him from ever supporting RP. You know he has to realize the war was B.S. by now, but he will never admit it. He has no principles.
I used to listen to Rush
I used to listen to Rush about everyday. Now I realize what a freaking hippocrit he is. For 20 years he has preached smaller government, lower taxes, less government intrusion into our lives, less spending, etc. etc. etc. Finally, someone comes along and actually preaches these things and lives by these rules and Rush ignores him. Rush is a putz and I have lost all respect for that S.O.B. Screw him and the rest of his so called "Conservative" buddies at Fox. They are traiters.
Of course but shouldn't this
Of course but shouldn't this be THE deciding factor in that guys career? Therefore shouldn't he be getting on with RP ?
I don't listen to that guy but he's got a big following we could use. What's his official position?

I'm guessing that many of us
I'm guessing that many of us on this website used to listen to Rush because we thought he was conservative.
He does not like McCainus but would have supported any other republican except Ron Paul. His listeners will have to figure things out for themselves, because Rush is not going to support RP as far as I can see. I'm not sure what he will do if McCain is the republican nominee.
Neocon?
