Question on National Service Act of 2007 HR 393

Watching my local news and Hillary was just shown in a clip where she mentions National Service and her desire to have all people who complete their National Service get $10,0000 for college. How much good will that do the older people (uo to age 42) who will be required to perform National Service?
She did not specifically mention the Proposed HR 393 but the audience gave loud applause. Here's a link to the bill.

Is there another National Service requirement out there or was she softening people up getting them used to the verbage? I was surprised it got so much applause. I would think most people would be against this?????

When this was proposed it was well known it was a finger to Bush ...called his bluff. It was a way to bring dialogue and attention to the issue. Though it is dangerous politics because of the blowback to one's career if misunderstood, it never had a chance of passing.
That being said: bringing back the Roosevelt CCC and making it compulsory...well that puts us only one letter away from CCCP. And that is who we (and our future generations) will be working for to pay back our international debt.
RP did say something about not drafting
in the MTV debate and I was glad to hear it. I think this bill has been introduced and re-introduced so, I fully believe it will come up for passage some time in the future.
Hillary and Obama have increasingly started to use the words "National Service" a nice euphamism for DRAFT. I doubt that is coincidental.
This was a bill introduced by Charlie Rangel to try to muscle
Bush into ending the war. He said that too many minorities were in the service and we should have a draft if we're going to continue in Iraq. The bill never went anywhere.
Go President Paul!
’In accordance with the principles of double-think it does not matter if the war is not real. For when it is, victory is not possible. The war is not meant to be won, but it is meant to be continuous.’ (George Orwell, 1984)
I feel a draft in here
Must be from Billary's gaping mouth...

Those people have no idea
Those people have no idea what the fuck they are clapping about, all i hear is
MOMMY MAKE ME SAFE FROM DADDY, BUT HANDICAP ME IN THE PROCESS, IM SCARED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought it might be ignorance but......
the new "draft", which I assume will come up after HR 1955 and S1959 - "Thought Control Bills" on "Homegrown Terrorism"- pass creating the need for massive numbers of "enforcers", is a huge deal for every American under age 42. It's difficult to believe a) people would clap b) the masses are unaware of the bill.
We should get the word out then to inform......she'd go down in flames!

Any form of mandated DRAFT type service and DRAFT for active duty/death...MANDATED being the key focus.....has the most significant high impact!
If RP made this one statement at any and all public and televised debates...he would be elected immediately if not sooner!!! Think about UNC SAM drafts you and your kids and their kids!!
