Has anyone else noticed an UPSWING in Ron Paul media mention??
I know the main media is doing what they can to squash Ron Paul and his message, but has anyone else noticed that more and more independent media, smaller news stations, blogs, newspapers etc... are mentioning Paul more and more lately??
To me, it appears there is an upswing in his media exposure where a month ago (especially the blitz about old newsletters saying Paul is a racist) there was almost no media exposure. I think/wonder/believe that alot of media has decided he *survived* those attacks and also that his recent debate responses and obvious media black-out is becoming more apparent....
I dont know exactly what the reason is (though it could be his message is getting around more and more) but it appears he is getting alot better attention here lately...

They have dropped Huckabee from reports. but are mentioning the doc more frequently. They are confident that Hillary and McCain will prevail, so they can be nice now.
But remember. There is no conspiracy. These two individuals are fit to run our government....into the ground.
McCain is horrible. He is a dreadful little man. It is such an affirmation of the existence the sicko's that run the show that would choose him and...her.
Hillary and McCain are the best possible combo for us. You can't guess how many people are suicidal at the thought of having them as choices.

What I have noticed is they don't call him a kook anymore. Now they just mention him as a side note, but keep saying he does not have a chance. (and polling at 5% nationally, they are pretty much right)

They are at least including his name in articles now. The Anderson Cooper incident the other day pissed a lot of people off. I have talked to some Huckabee supporters that are mad about the treatment that both Huckabee and Paul got in the debates the other day and I have a feeling they will lean towards Paul if Huckabee drops out. It's no mystery, the fact is that true conservatives hate McCain! I recently started listening to Mike Church on Sirius and he mentions Ron Paul a lot.

Yes, I have noticed.
The other night on Stephen Colbert was great, I had a letter to the editor published the next day, then that night a small, but positive piece on RP on POTUS2008 (on XM radio) then today I went to Victoria and saw RP himself, got a photo and signature and got to say a few things. Then on the way home I listened to the MTV show, where I think he came off very well.
I've been canvassing most of the week and it's been a good week.

And I especially liked how the one *democrat* guy in the audience brought up the *more democrats are voting like 3 or 4 times the amount of republicans - WHY?* question...
It was my hope that Ron would use this question to break the mold of being a Republican as he appeals to alot of democrats also... I think he did that very well without crossing into the Democrat territory... but I really think he needs to promote the fact he is NEITHER really because so many still connect being republican with todays fake republicans...
Ron has GOT TO BREAK THIS MOLD of being republican somehow... he did good tonight... I see cracks in his republican shell and I sure wish he would dispose of *republican* altogether....
Perhaps if he does run Third Party he can get more people on his boat by dumping the word republican....

Dr. Paul is smarter than you think..
1. He knows there is no constitutional provision for political parties,
2. He knows that the Federalist Papers (the intent of the framers of the constitution) state that there are to be NO political parties because they invite faction, and
3. He simply uses the platform of the Republican party as a vehicle to get into a position to protect our property and liberties from a tyranical foe. That position is as President.
Let's get him elected as the next President of the united States of America. Let's canvas this weekend.

That he is not your modern neo-con republican.... Frankly, I wish he could just abandon the term republican altogether... its too fixed in the mind of voters REPUBLICAN=BAD.... with all the corruption exposed in the last eight years, Bush being the monster he is, Cheney and Rice etc. etc. etc...

Frankly, I think he should make a MEDIA STATEMENT to the effect that he is now declaring himself *officially* unaffiliated with the republican party, but if he does that, I guess he cant run on the republican ticket, so he has done everything BUT say I am not a neo-con modern day republican... he is playing the only game he can right now...

I've been saying we could go more local and get more coverage by contacting local outlets, tv and print to cover rallies, interview Ron or Ran, cover any activity at all. Even interviewing the delegates and HQ people. Whatever, clever ideas to get the word out to the local people...have a HQ open house and advertise it, give something away as a door prize, have videos playing on TV sets as people come in and wonder around, of Ron Pauls best on Youtube, some of these are the best I've seen!
This would be great for the states beyond Feb 5th.

I have overheard two stories and numerous viewer comments on my local news. Most locals prefer the Area's news and they repeat the stories all day. Ron Paul was a top tier at the High School Mock Elections, and the local media really bumps up the younger views. I think I will write to all local stations tonight.

I have recently notified all of the mass media that they have lost my viewership. I have sent scathing emails and voicemails to Anderson Cooper regarding his unprofessional, inept and downright biased moderating of the last Republican debate. I even contacted Glen Beck and Lou Dobbs who I used to think were fighting the good fight but have increasingly become part of the media circus, and blind to our good Doctor who is the only choice for REAL change.
I would like to say the following as well. We need to reach the baby boomers and all who don't go on the Internet, but rather get their only knowledge from the biased, elitist-controlled mass media. I loved the other night when someone suggested that we do the Lou Dobbs quick vote and PLAY with their MINDS....(he always asks obvious biased questions to his listeners that will garner a majority response).
I don't even remember what the question was, but we all voted the opposite of the majority.....lol......and guess what......THE NEXT NIGHT Lou Dobbs mentioned Ron Paul about 4 times in 10 minutes......there were all kinds of posts about it!

The CNN debate over the top biased coverage was noted by supporters of other candidates who routinely believe we have a free press. The TV-induced "nutjob" label is loosing its adhesiveness among the slightly better informed as the dollar shrinks...and increasingly larger crowds for RP stop offs.

I guarantee you'll pove right, the media barrons already have plenty of footage of the Paul campaign. They won't use to his benefit, only to capture attention after the fact. Especially in the last 2 days I have heard RP's message in a discussion by a guest on Coast to Coast with George Noory - also some guy sitting in for Glenn Beck yesterday said very positive things about the good doctor.
Anderson Cooper's blatant snubbing of Ron Paul at the "debate" has ultimately helped to strengthen RP's message with all the stories saying that RP won the debate, etc. And Cooper's lying to RP about the followup question gives all media an embarrassing black eye. As far as I know CNN has not issued an apology or statement concerning Cooper and fairness at the debate.
Many reporters probably want to give Ron Paul his fair share of exposure but they take their marching orders from above and don't want to lose their jobs.
Ultimately the economy needs to keep diving, the warhawks need to keep the GOP in a mess, and as tax time closes in, the tide will turn.
The media has started to recognize that they have a story here.
