Ron Paul and the "S Factor"
The unveiling of a new secret weapon designed to "wake up" America's sleeping masses so they can embrace the ideas of Ron Paul and his message of liberty and limited government.
It’s often been said that we are primarily fighting a battle of ideas in our efforts to help Ron Paul become our next president. But what hasn’t been said very often (if at all) is that we’re also fighting a battle of spirits, as in: the spirit of freedom vs. the spirit of slavery, the spirit of light vs. the spirit of darkness, the spirit of truth and sincerety vs. the spirit of lies and deception, etc. These two battles (the battle of ideas and the battle of spirits) are so interelated that they can be thought of as two sides of the same coin.
However, this doesn’t mean that we can think of these two battles as merely two different aspects of the same battle because each one has its own distinct front and its own unique weapons of warfare. If this were not the case, Ron Paul would have won at least three of the first four primaries by a considerable margin (if not by a landslide) simply because of his ideas. Instead, John McCain received the largest portion of the "anti-war" vote in both New Hampshire and Michigan (even though Ron Paul is the only "anti-war" candidate), Mike Huckabee received the largest portion of the "Christian values" vote in Iowa (even though Ron Paul is the only candidate whose values—and deeds, I might add—are truly "Christian"), and Mitt Romney received the largest portion of the "economy" vote in Michigan (even though Ron Paul is the only candidate with a sound economic policy).
While it is true that there were other factors besides the issues above that affected the outcomes of the first four primaries, it is also true that these issues were either the most important or among the most important factors that affected those outcomes (according to exit polls, anyway). Then why didn’t Ron Paul win any of the first four primaries or, at least, do a lot better than he did?
