Why isn't Right to Life mentioning Ron Paul's pro-life record??
Below is the letter I sent their Political Action Committee. If you are so inclined to write to them, their website is http://www.nrlpac.org/ and their email is pac@nrlc.org. If you have something honest to say, some appeal to their sense of justice and the best pro-life candidate, then please say it. If this is not your area of support for Ron Paul, then go support him somewhere else. Everything we all do is valuable. Thanks.

Dear Right to Life, PAC,
A local affiliate of yours sent me your statement on the candidates (http://www.nrlpac.org/index.htm) and I have some some questions I would appreciate your answers in . I strongly believe that a Life-affirming president is what we need, but I'm confused. Why did the National Right to Life not equally support Republican Ron Paul as a pro-life option? I know we all have different opinions on various matters, but this seems to make no sense. For example, Romney may say whatever you want to hear, yet his voting record shows that he:
* Endorsed legalization of RU-486. (Mar 2002)
* Defining mistake: supported abortion law despite opposing it. (Aug 2007)
* Committed to not change law on abortion as Gov., and did not. (Mar 2007)
* Opposes Roe v Wade, but won't tamper with abortion laws. (Dec 2006)
...and yet you say you "appreciates the pro-life position taken in this presidential campaign by former governor Mitt Romney."
The Right to life also made positive note of McCain, who also,
* Voted YES on expanding research to more embryonic stem cell lines. (Apr 2007)
* Expand embryonic stem cell research. (Jun 2004)
...and yet you say, you are "grateful for the strong pro-life voting record on abortion of Senator John McCain"
(You can find this information on voting records from the completely neutral www.ontheissues.org.)
Why have you/they not included the other pro-life candidate Ron Paul, whose voting record includes
* Save "snowflake babies": no experiments on frozen embryos. (Sep 2007)
* No tax funding for organizations that promote abortion. (Sep 2007)
* Voted NO on expanding research to more embryonic stem cell lines. (Jan 2007)
* Voted NO on allowing human embryonic stem cell research. (May 2005)
* Voted YES on banning partial-birth abortion except to save mother’s life. (Oct 2003)
* Voted YES on banning Family Planning funding in US aid abroad. (May 2001)
* Voted YES on banning partial-birth abortions. (Apr 2000)
* No federal funding of abortion, and pro-life. (Dec 2000)
...an yet you made no mention of Ron Paul with this voting record (but somehow managed to mentioned now resigned Fred Thompson)
Everyone must vote for whomever they believe is best for the unborn and best for this country but why is the National Right to Life not giving this pro-life candidate a fair chance in at least supporting his pro-life stance alongside the other candidates. I did not see him mentioned.
Furthermore, you can see that while you may not think he is as pro-life as you would like, the other candidates you mentioned aren't either.
Why is the National Right to Life is not being fair in its coverage? I would really like to see this corrected. Just for the record, I am not some Ron Paul 'spammer' or anything of the like. I am strongly pro-life - in fact I've spent the last two years writing a pro-life book on abortion for young women - and I simply believe that Ron is good for our country. I'm not asking you to support him personally. All I am asking you to do is give him a fair chance like everyone else. I would appreciate what you have to say.
Your's most sincerely,

To be honest
If you read up on Right To Life, they are really named Right To Lie... they don't walk the walk at all.
~Live life to its fullest, with an open heart, open arms and most important... an open mind~
Let me confuse you further...
and I hope I don't get flagged .....
Please read the article by Dr. Patrick Johnson titled National Right To Life:
The Judas Iscariot of the Preborn. This was quiet a shocker for me and I have posted it on this forum before. Too bad, per usual, it got lost in the "flow".
If the link given below doesn't work, go to newswith views and go to Dr. Johnstons Archive to find it. You won't believe your eyes!! NRTL is a fraud!!!!

Is this scary or what? Who can you trust???
That was an interesting
That was an interesting article thanks. I don't know if I'm totally convinced but it's something to think about.
How Ironic
By promoting pro-war candidates it looks like the right to life group isn't really interested in everyone having a right to life.
It is unfortunate...
It is unfortunate...
National Right to Life
...is an establishment front group that likes to keep pro-life Christians on the plantation, voting Republican regardless of whether Republicans are pro-life
...collect millions of dollars in donations in support of laws and court cases which will not reduce the abortion rate
...opposes real protection for the unborn at the state level and instead focuses on federal solutions which will never save one life
...but the fact is, Ron Paul
...but the fact is, Ron Paul is pro-life, is Christian and is Republican!
...I don't know. :)
On the happy side, two people I emailed from their local affiliate groups told me they were already strong Ron Paul supporters. It's like everything, we just have to keep reaching out, keep emailing, keep speaking and so on. Maybe they will catch on, maybe they wont...but who knows until we try. Thanks for your thoughts. Interestingly Life Dynamics thinks a similar way about Right to Life (that is, that they haven't really don't much to change the situation since 1973 and that a new strategy is required)
