RP supporters battered by McCain bodyguards in Chicago!!!
At a campaign stop near Chicago on Friday, McCain bodyguards accosted Ron Paul supporters in the crowd, committing battery. Villa Park Police Department instructed by McCain campaign to dismiss any charges brought.
This is just a heads up, folks, of what's coming through the pipeline. Hopefully sometime tonight there will be video footage of some of the event and also audio clips of the Villa Park police admitting they won't take the case. I want you guys to hear it first from me before people start talking about it and saying these supporters were in the wrong. THEY WERE NOT!!! They attended a public event and did speak up and were asked to leave and did comply. Before their compliance was even allowed one gentleman was accosted full on being tackled to the ground along with a woman and her 3year old daughter who was knocked to the floor as well. Some so-called Ron Paul supporters(two of them. . .) heckled the others claiming they were wrong and gave RP a bad rap just as they were walking back to their car still holding the McCain signs that were given to those entering the arena.
Litigation will hopefully take place but either way we need this to become public knowledge of McCain's strong-arm tactics and police complicity as well.

With all due respect, we think we should not be going to other candidate's rallies. They have the right to support their candidate.
Well -- atleast if we go -- we should only pass out lit; not yell them down.
We would not like it, or call it fair -- if at our rally -- abunch on goons from the NWO (Clinton/McCain camps) came to our rallies and shouted us down.
Although we have to find ways to help these people see the light of saving the Constitution.
The time for this tactic has passed.

This stalking of Rudy and McCain has been a disgrace..It's like we feel if we harrass them they will suddenly turn and support us..We need votes and delegates and had best come up with some victories..We were led to believe Maine was our best chance and someone has dropped the ball miserably...These folks should be doing Pro Paul events, not stalking other candidates !

Yes, wave your sign, be seen, talk to people in your immediate area- but don't try to shout down someone who is making a speech. It makes RP supporters look like "protesters," "lunatics" and all the other denigrating/negative adjectives the media will pin on us.

I have heard from so many older people here in NH that the loud, "unruly" and RUDE Ron Paul supporters turned them off to our candidate. They went to McCain, even though they were against the war in Iraq.
