Ron Paul Sweeps Northern Maine Caucuses

Texas Congressman Dr. Ron Paul scored a stunning upset win over all three of his opponents in the Aroostook County Presidential Preference Survey during the weekend caucuses just concluded. It also would appear that Dr. Paul's supporters won the lion's share of the delegate seats to the Maine Republican Convention in early May from the county.

There were 3 undecided voters in Aroostook County with regard to the presidential preference. This vote is a non-binding survey merely intended to indicate Maine Republicans' preference for President. Delegates were also selected for many towns to the Republican State Convention.

Aroostook County

Aroostook County is where I grew up. It is a great place to live. It is a very rural county, and the largest county east of the Mississippi. I am very happy that my home county, known as "the County" here in Maine gave Ron Paul a win. I live in southern Maine now but maybe I just will move back home. Perhaps if things don't change Aroostook County could secede from the rest of the state of Maine.

Sounds like Northern Maine

Sounds like Northern Maine is the place to live. I should move there now before real estate values skyrocket

delegate

My Wife and I attended the caucus in Brownfield Maine yesterday(Western Maine near North Conway NH). Two people and myself became delegates out of about 18 people present. All of us are Ron Paul Supporters as well !!! This is just one of many small towns in Maine. I will be traveling to Augusta on May 2nd and 3rd for the vote!!!! Yippee!!!!! :)

It AIN'T over!

I wasn't able to get online very much yesterday,

Ron Paul has my vote!

Romney DiD

I think Paul Had 19% and McCain 22%, Now up into the final anoucement Paul And McCain were maybe a percentage point apart. Somehow he made a 3% jump with 96% reporting.

3 out of 4 OF THE FINAL VOTES WENT TO MCCAIN
