And that is sad. I think I am going to quit coming to this website, based on the fact that I have never seen so many cry babies. Anyone who is making negative comments about HQ, you try to run a PRESIDENTIAL campaign, you try to appeal to 300 million+ Americans when you suffer from an almost total and complete media blackout.
Money is important to this election, but not as important as CANVASSING! The campaign needs precinct leaders. It needs feet on the street spreading the word. If we are not 100% represented in every precinct in every state, than how do you expect to win??? What alot of you don't seem to understand, is that we are dealing with 100 years of crooked government, and you think that Dr. Paul spending an extra day in Maine is going to fix that? We are gaining new supporters everyday, while the others are losing supporters.
Surely, you have to see this. But if you think that 100 years of tyranny, and bureaucracy, and big government is going to just be erased overnight, than you are sorely mistaken. This is OUR fight. There is no one to blame but US. We have got to be on the streets, we have got to be canvassing. I don't think that a lot of you realize how unbelieveably important it is to be canvassing. This is OUR campaign. This isn't Ron Paul's campaign, or HQ's camapign, this is OUR campaign. Don't any of you negative poeple understand this???
Dr. Paul has said it so many times. This is OUR revolution, the PEOPLES revolution, that he is just the conduit. We need to QUIT playing the blame game, quit all of this negativity, and use all of this energy to get out on the streets canvassing, and spreading the word. We CAN win. But WE have to be the message, we cannot depend on anyone else but US to do it!!! If we are not taking first place in states, it is because WE are not doing a good enough job for Dr. Paul, and for our country.
Dr. Paul absolutely was on FIRE in that MTV debate, he handed all the other candidates their butts!!! That is the FIRST real EQUAL time debate that he has participated in. That was the first real, true, and fair media coverage he has received. So we are changing things. His word is getting out, and hopefully this is the start of a new trend with the media.
But in the end the ONLY ones to blame will be us. Will you be willing to tell your children, or your grandchildren, that the reason their country is in total shambles, was because rather than canvasing and spreading the word, you were pasted to your computer chair, writing negative comments about how HQ isn't doing a good enough job??? Makes me sick. GET OFF YOUR DUFFS AND BECOME PRECINCT LEADERS AND CANVASSSSSSSSS!!!
Please, WE need you. I need you. Dr. Paul needs you. This is OUR country, and it is up to US to TAKE IT BACK!!! We have the power to change history. Think about that for a second. Think about that the next time you are expending valuable energy writing negative comments about YOUR campaign. WE CAN AND WILL WIN, but we need EVERYONE!!! Please CANVASS!!! And please continue to donate!!!

I basically agree. But, at this point it's moot. I posted articles like this weeks ago leading up to super tuesday. That's when people needed to hear it not today. It's too late now... People needed to get out there months and weeks ago and canvas. For me there is no reason to come back to the site after Tuesday, I've done my part for my friends, family and my precinct. I've given the max for myself and my wife. I've given to many non-campaign related causes (blimp, mailings, newspaper adds). RP may not win but I'm not going to feel bad about it, I personally know I gave it everything I had.

I don't spend as much time on the DP as I once did. The DP is my resource for encouragement and information exchange. Negativity is usually something I ignore unless it is presented in a constructive manner. This post is constructive and inspiring. Not the 'sermon on the mount', but deserving of more attention. Change the title and I think more people will read and understand.

I stopped donating because I simply don't have the money to do so. The fourteen points to show the mistakes the campaign has made makes me sick: Not the mistakes but the fact that somebody would stopped donating because of the mistakes of a burgeoning campaign.
On top of my 50hour work week I have spent 80+ hours in the past three weeks canvassing my area; not just my precinct but the ones surrounding me that were never volunteered for.
To add to your mistake points:
Too many Ron Paul "supporters" stood by and did nothing, or next to nothing.

I canvassed 125 homes yesterday. Donated $102 on Friday. Sign waving today.
You must look yourself in the mirror and ask: Am I just a spectator in the revolution, or am I a participant?

Thank you, I am one of the older ones who have been battling for years, writing to my reps etc. to do what I can. I am not one of the younger ones, whose enthusiasm I love and welcome wholeheartedly, but I am afraid they are of the puhbutton instant everything, not to put them down, because they can't help being born into it. But we must not give up. We must keep on no matter what. And the time is ripe NOW, because of the internet, and homeschool freedom still, and gun freedom still. When those are taken away, we will know we have lost. PLEASE, don't give up.

Thank you for this post! This site can be one of the most discouraging places and it should not be that way. I personally can not be precinct leader but will do anything/everything humanly possible to help those who will. Things are really getting under way here in NE Ohio and it's exciting to join in with other meet-ups and hit the streets! Nothing compares to it!

We put out about 25 yard signs last night. We threw 400 Ron Paul newspapers in our precinct last night, my wife and I.
and we put about 250 slim jims on cars at wally world.
Will do the same today.
Also called about 75 homes in my precinct.
so we need to get to it.
