ALASKA - we need help!
PLEASE! Who can get in touch with RON PAUL or someone close to him. WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME! Tomorrow is the last day and last chance to win Alaska.
Listen, just one visit from RP or a son or grandson would probably secure a victory in Alaska. We have been ambushed this past week. The Romney campaign sent Romney's son to Alaska and all the Mormons are organized to take the win away from us - because his presence has drawn people out of the woodwork to vote for MR. And, Huckabee has gained the support of Alaska Right to Life and they are mailing everyone that MH is the pro-life guy.
The Lt. Gov. and our senators endorsed Romney, as well. Our empty-headed Gov. is on the fence between McCain and Huckster. HELP! We have been canvassing, sign waving, getting the word out on radio shows, radio ads, newspaper ads, letters to the editor...
HOWEVER, it doesn't look like we can pull a win without some HELP. Please, we need this win so that the nation will have confidence that RP can succeed. WE have 29 delegates - more than several states. We are not insignificant. WE ACTUALLY HAVE A CHANCE HERE.
Can anyone help us get the message to Ron Paul? His campaign in Alaska is a paid professional staff. THe grassroots is awesome, but we need a boost and we are dealing with one day left to save the vote.
HELP!

UPDATE: We have had success reaching GrannyWarrior and she is contacting those she knows. So, if there is any possibility of a visit for tomorrow, she will find it out. Thank you to everyone that helped us get a message out to Dr. Paul. We are all on the same team, striving for the same goal: liberty and peace and integrity in our government. The fight goes on and we are proud to serve with you in the Revolution. P.S. (Thanks, GrannyWarrior!!! A true patriot)

Rand Paul!
get on a plane quick!

I always assumed that RP would go to Alaska from Maine
It would be the most obvious move. Of course, he is in North Dakota today which is also not a bad idea.
Yes, but can he win ND?
If he made one visit to Alaska, he would win the state hands down.
"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone." - Romans 12:18
Brilliant article that explains why we love Dr. Paul:

-40 Temperature This Morning In Fairbanks...
I hope will be the same tomorrow. We have a half page news-paper ad today. Will be canvassing, sign waving, whatever is necessary.
Forgive my poor English, my wife is not here to correct me.
Doing all possible
I have contacted all I know about this but now it is up to us to just do the best we can. Make sure there is someone outside of every place there is a vote going on with a sign and a smile. I know the weather must be horrid up there now but this is a case of do or die. If we fail to take at least one state pretty soon people will start to lose hope and start migrating to other camps which seem to be on a winning streak.. We need a win right now and Alaska seems ripe for being the one with all the work that has been done there.

Thank you so much!
Don't worry about us. It is -30 below and you can bet every Ron Paul voter will be out tomorrow to vote! It is the average sitting-on-the-fence voter who we are trying to secure when they show up to the polling place.
Our local newspaper has done a great job at educating the city about the vote, so I think there will be a decent turnout. For this, we were hoping for some presence from the man himself! He can't be everywhere, but felt he needed to give this state a second look - in any case we are keeping up the fight right up to Tuesday night.
We appreciate all that you have done to get our urgent message out.
RON PAUL 2008
Bump!
There has got to be *some* family member that can do this! Ron Paul has a big family. Go-go-go Alaska! North to the Future!
Remember turn-out is everything for the caucuses. In a town of 10,000 there might be 100 come out to the caucus. My caucus-thing (county convention technically) in Wyoming had about 80 from a county of maybe 40,000. These are high-leverage events. A well-organized minority can own them. It's nice if a lot of Alaskans like RP, but the general populace's opinion is, in the caucus system, totally irrelevant.
I don't know what your rules are, but GET EVERYONE OUT! Drag all your friends along with you. Call all the people on your supporter list. Make sure they get there. This stuff is the crucial stuff.
If someone does come up, they should definitely _stay for Tuesday too_. Usually campaign representatives have an opportunity to speak at these gigs. At my convention, e.g., Duncan Hunter's brother-in-law or brother spoke for him. If Ron Paul had come and spoke, maybe we would have won, who knows? He's pretty persuasive.
Anyway, again: if you can convince someone to come up, convince them to STAY FOR TUESDAY ALSO AND WORK THE CAUCUS CIRCUIT giving speeches.
Bump
Again.
FACE TO FACE friends and neighbors
Alaskan's will in majority vote for Dr. Paul if you simply share him with them start with you friends and neighbors.
MAKE SURE THEY KNOW THE CAUCUS TIME AND LOCTION. It is not your normal polling place or hours.
Stop blaming the campaign and start shaking hands yourself. We will win this State because Alaskans do what is right.
The only question mark is Anchorage.
Gun rights
Stopping Federal intrusion into our land rights
Both issues that will get you far in face to face.
GET BODIES FOR PAUL TO THE CAUCUS. getting 30 people in the door tuesday is far better than five thousand saying, "oh I lake that Paul guy sure hope he wins."
Hold them to their oath:
President
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
---"Christianity has not been weighed in the balances and found wanting. It’s being tried, found difficult, and rejected!" - Leonard Ravenhill---
You are right.
We have been telling everyone we know - actively "evangelizing" and making phone calls, etc. Here is the catch: many like him, know about the vote and plan to vote... however, they are not sure he will win, etc. etc. Some think he is not even in the race anymore... so if he shows up to speak to Alaska himself, this will solidify the vote when they walk up to the polls on Tuesday.
Even if he would end up winning here anyway, an overwhelming victory is better than a close call.
Get the Hunter vote in Alaska
Here's and idea to get more votes in Alaska - its a States rights issue:
I'm an Alaskan (lifelong). I have an idea, what if Ron Paul were to openly support State management of our fish and wildlife resources? Many of our residents are hunters, and fish and wildlife management is divided between the Federal Government (on Federal Lands) and State (on State and Private lands). The State used to manage it all, but it was Federalized under Clinton. This could get hunters to the polls.
Especially the issue of the Nelchina Caribou hunt, which is divisive (most Dems support Federalization) - right leaning Republicans want State management.
It seems to be something Ron Paul believes in (State's rights).
That's for sure a good idea!
Thanks for sharing.
do you want Alaska?
I sure do.
BTW, the comment about the governor makes me sad. I'd been hoping she was honest enough to be a RP supporter. Guess not!

Brazil4Paul - Have You Tried Ron Paul's Grandson...
Matt Pyeatt? He just put up a post on the main page of the Daily Paul, about the 2nd one down called "Keep Ron Paul In Congress No Matter What".
Could you send a comment to him about all of this so maybe he could get in touch with another family member? (That is if Granny Warrier's Linda doesn't get in touch with Rand Paul first).
We all want Alaska to have a good showing for Dr. Paul. Hope some how, some way a Paul family member can go to Alaska tomorrow (Monday) to help with the campaign there!
Good Luck!
Ron Paul for President 2008 !!!
Thank You...
Thank you for posting there.
when it rains
Just got notice that Alaska Right to Life is sending out 10,000 vote for Huck letters for Monday. We are going to have a hard time overcoming this lastest barrage without help.

REACH OUT and touch them with Dr. Paul's message!
I am signed up
I have given every dime I can and more. I have donated for newspaper ads and radio ads. I have called every night and day I have had for a month. I have posted Common Sense over and over again all over the interior of Alaska. I have handed out hundreds and hundreds of slim jims. Now I need the campaign to do something as in prove that I am not promoting a mythical beast. I need to have some face time on the tube and a good newspaper article to complete the work. The recent blitz from Mitt (big mormon population)and Right to Life is doing some damage. Any loss up in the interior is not because of hard work we have done our part. We have a great group of koolaid drinkers.

Alaska
We have passed your message to Ron Paul headquarters. We will see what can be done on such short notice. Thank you for the canvassing and telephone calls in Alaska. Keep up the good work.
February 3, 2008 ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul, the only Republican White House contender with an active state campaign and offices in Alaska, enjoys the greatest support from active and former military personnel of all presidential candidates, according to newly-released FEC reports.
The news is particularly significant for Alaska, which is home to four active military bases. Ron Paul is the highest-polling Republican presidential candidate in the state.
The ten-term Texas congressman has received many endorsements from Alaska military veterans, and is the only Republican presidential candidate to have a coalition of veterans, Alaska Veterans for Paul, backing him in the state. He draws supporters from all branches of military service, including Purple Heart recipients, Humanitarian Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, and Air Force and Navy Achievement Medal winners, and hosts of other decorated veterans.
"Congressman Ron Paul is clearly Alaskans' choice for a stronger America," said Paul Alaska state political director Craig Bergman, himself a veteran. "Dr. Paul supports Alaska's troops, and they overwhelmingly support him for President of the United States."
Added Alaska Navy and Army Veteran for Paul Aaron Gorham, "God bless Mr. Paul and his family for what they are trying to do for this nation that I love!"
Congressman Ron Paul served his country in the Air Force and Air National Guard. He is also a founding member of the Vietnam Veterans of America chapter in Hallettsville, Texas. Regarding his military service,
Former President Ronald Reagan said, "Ron Paul is one of the outstanding leaders fighting for a stronger national defense. As a former Air Force officer, he knows well the needs of our armed forces, and he always puts them first. We need to keep him fighting for this country!"
The Alaska Republican caucus will take place this Tuesday, February 5.
