Why is Paul campaign making calls today to FLORIDA to urge votes?!

0 votes

Paul campaign is making automated calls to Florida TODAY Feb 4th with Paul's voice saying "Tommorow February 5th is Super Tuesday...I'm call you to urge you to cast your vote for me. If you are a Ron Paul supporter, you must your way to the polls to make your voice heard...tommorow." The Florida primary has already passed. I don't understand why they're wasting time and resources calling Florida today (this call was received in Fort Lauderdale today).

Go do something constructive.

If you think the campaign is wasting time and/or money (which they are not) then quit griping and go tell someone to vote for Ron. Call your friends and family that live in Super Tuesday states and tell them to go vote tomorrow.

Griping about 1 random call and getting everyone all worked up on the forums is not constructive.

Before you do ANYTHING, always ask yourself the following question:

Will this get Ron Paul a SINGLE vote?

If the answer is no, it is a waste of time.

I'm not trying to make less of your issue, just reminding you to stay focused and keep your eye on the prize here.

I think more than likely

I think more than likely they have a recorded message, that is just calling everyone who has donated in the past to remind them to vote tomorrow.

Probably pre purchased

Forgive their error and don't worry about it.

It could be possibly a human error

whether it's on the campaign HQ's part or the individuals part by cause of slight dyslexia my accidently switching area code digits. Yes, best to contact HQ so if it is their mistake they can fix it...

Could have been a pre-purchased block

This may be an innocent mistake on the part of whoever the call center is that the campaign contracted. They probably purchased their services in a "block" and FL happens to be lumped into the calls for today.

Contact the campaign and tell them this.

Just did and they blew me off

I was hesitant to contact them because from past experience they just blow you off. But taking your advice, I just called and they blew me off again. They said something like "You know those automated phone calls, they just kind of shoot them off.." I pressed him a little bit more and he "Well, uh, maybe they're wanting you to call relatives in others states..." That was about it. Didn't thank me at all. So I said goodbye.
