WHAT HAS BECOME OF THIS WEBSITE?!?!?!?
Actually, I would be happy if the managers of this site would pare down posts that aren't truly pertinent to the campaign. I come here for news regarding Dr. Paul's status in each state, his strategy, new endorsements, ballot recounts and news articles.
IMO, this site has become a free-for-all where people sometimes start rumors and post without varifying sources. As an example, a few weeks ago someone posted that another draft had passed. If they had checked the government site on the House bill, they would have seen that it's still languishing without passage.
Also, and I mean this in the nicest way, re-read your posts and ask yourself what people who come here wanting to know more about Ron Paul, think of his supporters after reading a lot of this stuff.

Is this what we want possible Ron Paul supporters to see when they visit this website? I think not. PLEASE people! Check your posts before you click on "post comment" for spelling and content. Quit replying with one liners and LOL's or YAY's. You're wasting valuable bandwidth here.

To me, ending as you did, that means continue as you were, go back to doing whatever it was we were doing before giving YOU our undivided attention. I'm sure I know what you mean but must question your concern when you say some of us are 'wasting' valuable bandwidth here' --maybe it was your use of the word 'wasting' // are you the self-appointed bandwidth police here? Is that really your job to be concerned over bandwidth? Yeah, I suggest you keep the posts short, sweet, and non-substantive. That way it doesn't burn as much like when a post you worked on for hours gets deleted.

I never attacked the poster concerning spelling, it's simply distracting and takes away from the message. If someone can not take 10 seconds to run it through a spellcheck (especially when they know they're a poor speller), why should I even bother with the post.

The problem is that there is a group of "cheerleading only" people who can't stand anything that has a hint of "negativity". They literally make comments that when confronted with anything not "positive" or happy-happy they get nauseous, start shaking, have panic-attacks etc.. Seriously.
But this is POLITICS and politics by nature is ugly, dirty, relentless and tiring. It is about molding perceptions, countering lies and rumors, getting in the trenches and getting all muddy.
It's not about covering your eyes and ears and pretending the monster will just go away if we think about pink ponies prancing in the magical forest.
Ron Paul has lost a huge chunk of his support base over the last month. But on this site DO NOT try to ask those borderline supporters why they have left or why they are not donating. DO NOT try to analyze and counter the dirty tactics of the opponents.

You will also notice that many of the Anti-Negativity Team make comments how they experience physical illness and other phenomenon when confronted with anything "negative". They get nauseous, vision gets blurry, they become physically ill.
