Received Reply From Editor of The Plain Dealer

I sent the editor of The Plain Dealer an email Sunday in regards to
her newspaper's Big front page election spread which had all the photos of the candidates except Dr. Paul's & the views & comments of all the candidates except Dr. Paul's. Also inside the front section there was a full page detailing the proposed poll results for Super Tuesday & of course no mention of Dr. Paul. So I emailed her & shame-ed her for this act of out right censorship - well she sent me back this reply - I would like to reply back to her, but maybe with some help in choosing my words. Here is her reply

It is not censorship. It is a matter of devoting our time, space and
resources to the candidates with any kind of reasonable chance to win. So
far, the most Mr. Paul has won in a primary is eight percent; most have been
under five percent.

That's why we are at the point where we are making the decisions we are
making. I'm sorry you disagree.

You all see...wasting your time....METHOD....

Read this trail of confusion below.

You are allowing PD to waste your precious time

They are all passing the buck. Who is responsible--they won't say.

So, as I said earlier...send letter to advertisers (they are under 'go shopping' upper right hand corner on PD page.--hole lot of em).

Write you letter to advertisers then cc: all publisher/owners/head/and other complicit ones. Why write to the one who did the deed!!!!!

YOU GOT TO TARGET THE $$$$ MONEY--THE ADVERTISERS and be in management's face with cc's while doing it!

I talked to the plain

I talked to the plain dealer today, and the person who is in charge of who gets exposure is Jane Cahoun. She made the choice to exclude Ron Paul, as she directed a piece today that left out ron paul when it came to conservative choices, lets send her something!

ABQ Journal did the same. I

ABQ Journal did the same. I wrote a letter along with many others in our meetup here. I hate it that the media is choosing our candidates. I requested that they print the Man of Common Sense in next Sunday's paper. I enclosed a copy and the website for them to get a newspaper formatted document. I doubt that they will print it, but it made me feel good to write the letter.

She is lying..

The decision was made long ago to marginalize Paul.
Now, they have his low numbers as an excuse, when they were the cause.

Plain Dealer and Tennesse papers

Both papers left Dr Paul out of their presidential candidate coverage. One editor is called Mike Silverman and the other is Susan Goldberg. Is there a connection here to a zionist agenda?

newspaper's name plz

which tennessee newspaper? do you have the name so we e mail them, all the editorial board.

Write to the editor

I am going to write to the editor right now too, and post the reply she gave you. I am also gonna mention that fact that I will be contacting her advertisers too.

8%? WTF?

8%? WTF? More willful ignorance? Or just stupidity?

Dear Editor: You need a doctor

Either your eyesight is slipping, or you're suffering from Rectal Cranial Inversion. Either way I think you need a doctor. I just so happen to know a doctor who is quite capable of helping you. First let's analyze your symptoms:

Your eyesight or the math centers in your brain seem to be malfunctioning. Dr Paul received 10% of the primary vote in Iowa, 14% in Nevada and 19% in Maine thus far. If you're eyes/math abilities were not weakened you would notice that these numbers are increasing over time.
Also other areas of your brain seem to be afflicted as well. This is obvious from the fact that you are a journalist, but seem to have forgotten how to research the election process. Were this not the case you would know that the numbers that determine a candidates chance to win is their delegate count, in which Dr Paul is doing quite well.

Dr Paul has a great track record of curing blindness in those who can't (won't) see what is right before them. Perhaps you should schedule a visit with him when he comes back through your area to thank his supporters for helping him gain the Oval Office. If you can't afford the medical bills (Either due to the recession, or for having lost your job due to your lack of journalistic integrity) Dr Paul is kind man who has treated a number of patients for free over the years...I'm sure he can take the time to treat you.

I love it

He certainly cured my blindness!

Dear Madam:
For someone who has risen to the position of editor it would seem as though you have not been paying attention to the current political landscape nor do you grasp a conceptual understanding of your duties as an unbiased News Agency. First the facts, as we are all entitled to our opinion we do not have the same luxury with regards to FACT based reporting which you seem to be seriously deficient, so please allow me to assist you in this area.
Fact # 1
Primary results: http://abcnews.go.com/politics/elections/candidate?candidate...
As you may be surprised to learn Dr. Paul has received at least 14% in the three most recent primaries not to mention a 10% haul in Iowa.
Fact # 2
Another indication of a candidate’s viability is, Straw Poll results and Ron Paul has had success in this area.
Straw Poll Results: http://www.ronpaul2008.com/straw-poll-results/
Fact # 4
Campaign fund raising is often used to determine how a candidate manages their finances during the campaign itself and may offer a window into how a particular candidate may perform if elected. Ron Paul’s Campaign is by far the most fiscally responsible of any candidate Democrat or Republican. Ron Paul raised more in the 4th quarter of 2007 with 19.9 million dollars and currently has more cash on hand than any republican including the ultra wealthy Mitt Romney.
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2008/02/news-shoc...
Ron Paul has also set and broke his own record for single day fundraising with 4.3 million dollars on November 5th, 2007 http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21646939/
And then on December 16th, 2007 He broke the record for single day donations in history with a 6 million dollar haul. http://www.iht.com/articles/2007/12/18/america/camp.php
Fact # 5
Grassroots organization is a vital component to any serious run for the Presidency and Ron Paul has cornered the market in this category. Meet up groups are boots on the ground supporters and Ron Paul dwarfs everyone shown here. http://ronpaul.meetup.com/about/

With all this evidence of Dr. Paul’s viability in the 5 different aforementioned categories it would seem that you have joined the ranks of the many mainstream outlets that are attempting to force upon the American people your wishes of who we should choose from. This would be fine if you did not present yourself as an unbiased source of news but this is not the case. You know that people depend on your written word for information they use to formulate their opinion as to who we would elect to the highest position of public office. It is therefore my opinion that you are doing a grave disservice to the general public by unfairly giving other candidates free face time in your newspaper while simultaneously excluding a very viable candidate with a much needed opposing viewpoint than the candidates that you endorse simply by their inclusion in your coverage. Many people are waking up to this media bias everyday and it is painfully obvious to us all how news outlets are scrambling to silence Dr. Paul’s message of non-interventionism, peace, and prosperity. I realize Ron Paul is not the preferred candidate for the elites of society because quite frankly Dr. Paul’s platform threatens future profits and is geared towards getting big government off the backs of ordinary citizens like myself that your paper professes to serve. I respectfully request that you include Dr. Paul with your coverage or come up with more concrete facts in order to explain your decision to exclude what I and many other Americans believe to be the only true conservative voice in the Republican Party currently running for President.

Wow..what a letter..yeah the military donations...and you may throw in we got the 2nd most delegates in Maine...lol

I corrected that in my letter to her

Thanks for the kind words, I posted it here and I saw it needed to be tweaked i think I still have the part .
As you may be surprised to learn Dr. Paul has received 14% and is currently at 19% in one of the three most recent primaries not to mention a previous 10% haul in Iowa. I didn't mention Maine by name but i did slip the 19% in, plus the websites I listed point to these details.
