Lou Dobbs supports Real I.D.
The only reason I "encountered" Jack Cafferty and Wolf Blitzer was as shows before/after Lou Dobbs with his many segments about the destruction of the middle class due to cheap labor here via guest worker visas and offshore.
HOWEVER, activists began questioning his motives when he was encouraging "Lou Dobbs Independents" to change to Independents, even in closed primary states where they would be eliminated from voting in the primaries at all, particularly for Ron Paul.
The final straw for me was when Lou Dobbs came out in favor of the Real I.D. Act and was confrontational with governors who were fighting it! See the transcript URL below.
That was it. Total betrayal by someone I had mistakenly "trusted".
CNN certainly lost a viewer permanently. Add MSNBC and Fox and ... and I'm evaluating just what fiction shows I watch on cable that aren't available online to cancel my cable subscription entirely.
If/when I do so, I will certainly tell my cable provider why they have lost that part of my revenue stream.

Dou Lobbs is controlled opposition. He is there to lead people down a primrose path to voting for an insider or wasting effort/time in another wrong direction. I like some of the things he says, but he appears way too smug and self-aggrandizing to be one of us. Lou Dobbs may not say good things about RP like we want him to, but he does counter the brown supremacist group La Raza wo is actively working against RP and anyone who wants to stop illegal immigration, secure the borders and reject amnesty. Dobbs is also one of the only ones in t.v. media who will talk about the negative side of illegal immigration and about the plans for a North American Union. I hate to say it, but until we get someone better than Dobbs on the air, we need him on the air to talk about those things that others on t.v. are either afraid to mention or don't want to mention because they are in favor of it.
