I'm an idiot. Don't listen to me.

In the early days I was a Ron Paul supporter.
I can't say when I became one. I guess I followed some link.
I've always wanted to be free. I've always had people tell me what to do.
But I put pants on the same as they do. I can't work out why they say they mean more than me?
So I stay quiet. I see bosses I work for and politicians I'm supposed to support do the dumbest things.
I stay quiet. Then I find Ron Paul! He doesn't want to tell how to live my life, doesn't want me to bend under the power of government. He wants me to be me!
I've never stolen, hurt anyone or taken one penny of government money but I've paid my taxes. I think they owe me.

You guys have sent me so much support, I'm teary.
You are Paulites.

Pls noticed I ended saying OK so I never get a response but that doesn't mean anything because we must keep the good doctor going whatever to whatever end we may not yet see.

OK, Dr. Paul will only do well if all of you go and vote. BUT DON'T GO ALONE! Every Romney supporter brings a spouse, sibling, cousin, parent, aunt, neighbor and child to vote. So, if you go alone that is 1 vote for RP and 8 for Willard. You do the math! I saw this first hand here in Maine...a lot of lone supporters for our guy vs. a few large families of supporters for the other guy. There is nothing wrong with that strategy and in fact we should emulate it.

Do whatever you can to bring someone with you to the polls. Just one person will double your vote! Two will triple it.
I called in ALL the favors to get my non-political wife to come with me. I fear I will be paying for it for a whole year, but it was worth it.

So use your "friend card" to get a buddy to come. Buy your neighbor a 6-pack or let him borrow your favorite tools if he promises to come.

When you ask they will say "no thanks I am just not interested in politics". But do not give up. You need to tell them that by going they will be supporting YOU. Guilt them, bribe them, owe them, you name it...just do it!

Find old people and offer them a ride. Go to the nursing homes and show them a picture of the nice doctor in his Air Force uniform and tell them how he will make their social security safe and their medical expenses cheaper. Then offer to drive them and their friends to the polls.

This is the way to win!

If you are a hermit and live alone and never talk to anyone EVER then I will forgive you for going alone to vote. Otherwise I say SHAME ON YOU if you don't make a REAL effort to double or triple the impact of your vote.

I want all of you to respond to this post and say either:
"YES I WILL BRING SOMEONE AND DOUBLE MY VOTE"
-or-
"NO I'LL GO ALONE BECAUSE I DON'T CARE WHO WINS, THAT SEEMS LIKE TOO MUCH WORK"

And it does hurt a little. You think, doesn't anyone think what I just said is important? One time recently I posted something and no one responded. I went to "forums" and found my post. I added a comment to my post and it resurfaced and then I did get responses. It made me feel better.

i know how you feel. i have posted what i believed to be relevant and useful topics only to have certain people tell me to be quiet. I guess it depends on who is on here at any given time, the amount of traffic and how long it can stay up on the board. Keep giving us what you've got. If it is right for the time, it will get responses. If you post very late at night or very early in the morning you may get more response. There are fewer people on, but then there is virtually not posts being made and it could generate some conversation for those of us just waiting to hear from someone!

I have had the same thing happen to me. At least now you have people responding and you didn't have to do anything except call yourself and idiot and tell us not to listen. You found the secret to getting post. LOL So share it with the rest of us.

Post at 2 am. It will stay on the 'leader board' longer. : )

I've posted new topics a number of times, and taken too long composing -- meanwhile others are posting new threads too. And by the time I'm satisfied with mine and ready to hit "enter" I'm off the page! lol
