Ron Paul's international support
Submitted by individualist on Tue, 02/05/2008 - 03:10
Ron Paul has many supporters outside the US and many of us would like to contribute. We can't donate to the campaign, or join meet-ups, so what can we do to further the revolution?

Support the well-known RP chipins.
Don't know how many still make sense after the Super Tuesday, so choose wisely.

Seems to be a reputable site.
And, of course, please support LewRockwell.com -- the greatest libertarian free-market site in the world, and, Ron Paul Central for this election. :)

Did a search on google with my name here
Ron Paul (dailypaul) in Japan? Or, is it just being translated from
Japanese? A .com site shouldn't actually be in Japan. It showed that it was being translated from google but not from this site:
address:
http://j2k.naver.com/j2k.php/japanese/www.dailypaul.com/
While it was being translated there was, I guess an advertisement, that is from a Japanese sight: http://bbs.enjoykorea.jp/
Go figure.
There's lots you can do.
I live in Canada (used to live in England). For the last 15 months (yes, before Ron Paul even declared his candidacy) I have been doing the following things:
- I actually wrote to Dr. Paul, asking him to run for President, in 2006
- Educating people on the Internet and around me (family and friends) about the ideas of freedom and liberty (some of them are starting to get it)
- Donating to various grassroots efforts
- Donated to the official campaign (sent money to a cousin in America who then donated to the campaign)
- Sent literally thousands of e-mails to U.S. media outlets, celebrities, companies, etc
- Writing to my local media about Ron Paul's candidacy and monitoring their U.S. election coverage (it is even worse in Canada and the U.K.)
- etc, etc
You are only limited by your imagination. There are also meet-up groups all around the world that you can join (if not, start one of your own). Where I live (near Vancouver, B.C.) I've even seen Ron Paul bumper stickers and signs! If I could afford it, I would even make more cold calls to voters in Washington State (I'm a Realtor so I'm used to doing this). The only thing I haven't done is cross the border to go canvass (I refuse to face the American border Nazi's any more).
One other thing; if your country has one, pick up and read a copy of your constitution. I've been living in Canada since August 2001, but I only read our constitution a year ago. Guess what? I figured out that our income tax is just as illegal and unconstitutional as America's is. You can bet your bottom dollar (or loonie) that I've told this to as many people as I could.
I would like to paraphrase and misquote a George Bush quote to make a point - "The central battlefront in the war on tyranny and government is in America". Right now, the fight is in America, but eventually this revolution has to go worldwide, for all our freedoms are at stake.
Skype
Use Skype to make your cold calls!!! Super cheap.
Amazing. Thank you!
Amazing. Thank you!

Get involved in local
Get involved in local politics and start your own Ron Paul revolution. The forces we are up against are active in ALL countries.
Speak out
In Europe the media blackout on Ron Paul is much much worse than in the US (though less important right now, of course).
What we can do? We can talk about him to people.
One example:
Yesterday night, Jim Rogers was in Munich, Germany and had a speach. I was there. He spoke about this and that (commodities etc.).
In the question-section he was asked about Ron Paul by many people including myself. No other candidate was even mentioned. Only Ron Paul.
The video should be online this week, I`ll post it. Some good parts!
Q: What would you do if you had the job of Ben Bernanke
JR: Abolish the FED and then resign
He also said he would vote for Ron Paul, if he got the nomination.
But to get to the point: I`m sure many people in the audience now want to know who this Ron Paul guy is and why our damn media do not talk about him.

Foreign media coverage is one way....
Some of the best articles I have seen about Ron Paul
and his policies, have come from foreign newspapers.
Since you can't contribute to his campaign maybe you
could encourage more coverage of his positions or why
the USA media refuses to acknowledge him fairly.....just a thought.
Thanks for your interest and support.
Buy Ron Paul's books
and start educating people. Another great resource is:

Ed Griffin, who has spoken at some of Dr. Paul's rallies, is the founder of Freedom Force International.
Aaron Russo was one of its more prominent members.

Fun, educational projects to inspire young minds...
Yes, buy as many copies of
Yes, buy as many copies of RP's new book as you can and tell all your friends and family who are RP supporters and get them to buy as many copies as you can too. Then distribute copies of the book to as many people as you can with a note in the back of the book if they like the book and want to help RP win, buy as many copies of his book as they can and distribute them to others for free.
What would probably help most, if you can afford it, is coming to visit America, and distribute copies of the book for free to people in upcoming primary states, perhaps with the help of Ron Paul meetup groups as long as its legal.
If I were rich, I'd buy a bunch of the books and go door to door along with RP meetup groups who'd get a bunch of the books too and start giving them out for free along with a slim jim and whatever other pro-RP stuff I wanted to hand out.
If enough people buy his books, he can get on the NYT bestseller list and get more media exposure.
