this is supose to be a free country (home of the free and land of the brave) my grand father never had a drivers licence and he was never required to have one until after world war 2. AND STILL HE DID NOT GET ONE HE DIED WITH NO DRIVERS LICENCE.
do you relize when you get a drivers licence you sign it and give up all of your constitutional rights! oh yes and now you fall under the laws of the drivers license. revolution START BEING GOOD AMERICANS AND REMEMBER WE ARE A REPUBLIC! I'll refuse a National ID Card
Sooner or later, the only way to really be FREE in America, will be to drop off the grid! I will not use a National ID Card! Currently, government surveillance monitors this internet traffic, e-mail, text messages, all phone calls (LAN & cell), credit and banking institutions, DMV, medical records, employment records and criminal records. Your position can be tracked by your cell phone and conversations picked-up (even when its off). Thanks to a plethora of cameras everywhere, they know what you look like, can ID you with facial recognition software and track you.
So, anyone hinting at organized tax evasion, revolution or even civil disobedience is probably already under the scrutiny of some federal agency who feels that the Constitution is just a "goddamn piece of paper".
The internet has become the most useful tool in allowing us to organize and communicate, however, it has also betrayed us.
Good Points to Consider
It's a done deal in many states. I believe my state has resisted the idea, and has a certain timeframe in which to comply or else all the residents of the state will endure hardship when it comes to travel,etc. People will not want to go through the inconvenience, so I'm sure the state will cave in and go along with the national ID/driver's license. (Don't take the spelling spanking too hard. Life's short; choose your battles.)
I, for one, will NOT accept the REAL ID
I have no intentions of flying and I have no needs to go to any Federal Buildings. I will NOT accept the REAL ID, period.
Unfortunately, Florida's Governor doesn't feel the need to follow states like Maine, Montana, and many other states to rebuke the Real ID. I guess our Governor wants less state powers and hand the reigns to the Federal Government. I definately won't be voting for Crist next year. Oh, he endorsed the Wars for Life McCain to top it off.

No Way. I would hope no one here would either. We need to stand up against this now, or we are forever lost.

I would have heard you better if you were to spell things correctly. Seriously folks, download Firefox. It has a spell checker built into it.
Your chances are better at being heard when you are able to present yourself with correct spelling, grammar, and content. That is just a simple fact.
If you feel so passionate about your cause then you owe to yourself to properly speak your voice.
