Newspaper for Liberty
I think the Ron Paul paper is a great idea. It's very informative regarding Dr. Paul and his platform. Of course it's a point of view to promote Dr. Paul and influence voter choice.
How about a newspaper called say "The Liberty Proclamation" that is journalistic-based news reporting on issues ignored by the MSM. Reporting that parallels the liberty founded principles that we are fighting for.
I am in the conservative area of Upstate SC and our newpaper choices are "The Spartanburg Herald" (N.Y. Times Owned), which is liberal and endorses Hitlery. The other is "The Greenville News" (Owned by Gannett) which is liberal and endorses Obama. Both of these newspapers run editorials proclaiming that such programs like the "Real ID" as great for our security. They push Socialism.
I want to receive coverage about issues like HR 1955 and the federal reserve fractional reserve lending practices and some of John McCain's biggest supporters being the banking industry, lawyers, equity firms, and media - and the amount of profit that defense contractors make off taxpayers - and how FCC's corrupt decisions hurt our chances at receiving truly informative news. I do find ample news myself on the Internet, but MANY people don't.
This should be a true non-profit effort serve as a vehicle to form PACs (for liberty), and endorse and promote liberty-minded candidates at all levels of government, amongst other things
Picking a newspaper to read in your town, these days, is like the media making people feel they have to choose between the two substandard candidates they promote.
