This is Super Tuesday, and the MSM is doing EVERYTHING it can to make sure that the average voter is ignorant about Paul, or even worse… by not giving him any coverage, or showing him as an option, many of the older people think he dropped OUT of the race!!! This is NOT by accident! » |

CNN reported about 3 days ago (it may have been an AP piece) that RP had dropped out to run for his place in Congress.
BUT Good news is that CNN.com has RP on the frontpage...

The problem is that they are truly accountable to no one in this matter, this media blackout of Dr. Paul, and will continue to ignore him even when he does start winning. We need to start thinking like they do. We have to ask ourselves what will be their strategy when they (the msm) start getting pushed up against the wall. My guess is false flag terrorism, but thats just the way my mind travels.
My point is something will happen....to make them stop coverage altogether. I think it's the only logical move for them to make. But again, thats just me....I'm certain there are some chess players out there with a better mind than I who would have some better ideas
These guys know what they are doing, they've had lots of practice. I.E.-JFK, Gulf of Tonkin, RFK, Viet Nam, Watergate, Iran Conta...the list is endless, and culminates with 911, and the occupation of Iraq. I can't believe they are not prepared for this contingency. Somebody needs to second guess them and counter it, if possible.
Having said that, I think it's important to note that they do seem nervous about this REVOLUTION. They are so nervous that they are tipping their hand. The strategy being employed, ignoring the REVOLUTION, is transparent to us iconoclasts, and becoming more so to the ignorant sheeple.
This is probably the most fascinating election that I have ever witnessed in my life and if Ron Paul does not get elected to his rightful position as President then it will truly be too late.

-about that aspect too. Will they take the diversion to far and launch a false flag or an attack on iran or something? If they do we will know who is behind it. The balance is in what the world would say about that if they did something so stupid for a short term distraction.

Polls
It is national news and they go by national polls. They know who most of the national viewing audience are interested in hearing about based on the polls. They're not going to spend much time on Paul because he only is around 6 or 7% in the national polls. There's no sinister plan behind it. Decisions are made based on what gets the most viewership in order to maximize profit. It's as simple as that. That's why even less coverage is given to Alan Keyes.

Any time Ron has appeared on a show, for instance the Glenn Beck show, that was the highest rated Beck show EVER.
Now... how does this exactly relate to decreased ratings by showing Paul?
People WANT to see Paul on TV. They want to hear his message of freedom. Freedom is Popular!
If you had been at the rally in Denver, or seen the footage from it, you'd understand what kind of incredible support he TRULY has, that the MSM does NOT want the average American knowing about!

Beck had Paul on. I've seen Paul on lots of other shows too. So where is this anti-Paul media conspiracy? To expect them to give him equal time with higher polling candidates is asking a lot. If Beck gave Paul any more than a few shows then he's going to start losing his mainstream audience. He knows this. All the mainstream media knows this. Try to run a mainstream news station giving equal time to lower polling candidates and you will no longer be mainstream. They're market niche IS the mainstream. Paul is NOT mainstream.

Defending the MSM. I suppose you imagine yourself to be a critical thinker, and that the rest of us are merely not thinking out of the box.
Sometimes, no matter how badly you want it to be otherwise, a spade is indeed a spade. The MSM IS biased, and they are giving airtime to who they want to win, pure and simple. There is nothing fringe or conspiracy about this view, it's the simple truth. If you chose to ignore it, then that is upon you.
libertarian
ideas are not very popular. Polls show that around 15% of Americans have libertarian views. So if you're a smart news station manager, you're not going to devote too much time to it. You have to understand that what makes mainstream news "mainstream" is that it appeals to the mainstream. If it gave more time to Paul or Alan Keyes it would no longer be mainstream by definition.
About the 6 or 7% polls, lots of polling companies. This is not just one company with a manipulated poll. This is several companies competing to be the most accurate.
looking ahead
Dimwot? the idea of Ron Paul is by looking ahead not behind. Libertarian is the next big thing and could last forever. When folk see they have been severely mugged (coming soon to a town near you) they will pick up on Ron Paul's message for revolution. Whilst I concur that journalists journal and do not pretend to be futurists they should at least expose upcoming news when presented to them. This is plain censorship of the message in the hope that when the msm start laying people off they think they themselves will be the last to go get fired. (Another false economy).

It's not just the mainstream media but the fringe media as well. Everybody is biased. But if you run a TV station showing a candidate like Alan Keyes with equal time with McCain for example and you're going to lose a lot of viewers. All media is biased but they still have to follow the market. The polls are the method they use to determine what the market is.

I think there must be a lot of people living in the U.S. who just don't *get* what the founding fathers were about, what made this nation great, where it is headed now (crushing collapse), and what needs to be done to solve it.
