Has ANYONE seen TV ads for Ron Paul on TV these 6 days before Super Tuesday?

0 votes

If so, tell us what state you are in, when you saw it and what you saw.

Sure there is a MSM news block out, but has HQ quieted themselves? Give us details....please

Where? (City and State and TV network showing it?)
When? (Time of day?)
Starting what dates? (guess if you must)
For how many days? (guess if you must)
What was the TV commercial? ----Can you tells us about it, describe it or find it on youtube?

Have you seen TV commercials for other candidates?

If you heard a radio ad from HQ, please tell us where and when and what was said.

I know one thing, I did see a Huckabee TV ad the night of the debate in California on CNN at the Reagan Library. Thats Huckabee, the guy with supposedly no money. Why oh why is HQ not thinking strategically like that? I for one would like to see a full accounting of HQ's expenses. Lack of TV coverage is one thing, but not getting on TV 6 days before Super Tuesday? That is not forgivable. After all the street pounding door knocking I did, only to get these republicans call me and ask point blank, "Is Ron Paul still in the race?".

Thanks,

Treg

I hear there were none in "cally fornia"...

[doing my best arnold schwarzenegger imitation]

...or at least in Los Angeles. I don't watch TV, but a friend who does said, why don't I ever see any commercials for him?

But there were lots of radio ads on several big am stations.
_______

Not Super Tuesday, I know, but a supporter from NH had written that they were running the RP immigration commercial 10x a day and it was annoying her because they didn't have an immigration problem in NH, like a border state might.

Maybe if the commercial had content about H1-B visas and people losing their jobs because of it, the immigration commercial would have made more sense in that state!

oklahoma

I live in Oklahoma and never saw or heard an ad. But ok isn't usually a state in which much political activity takes place, unfortunately.

If you know folks in a state that hasn't voted, save yourself some time by sending em to http://www.apaulogist.com. They'll get educated soon enough. :)

NYC

None in Florida

Also, my parents in the Sarasota area of Florida have never seen or heard a single Dr. Paul ad........

I live in Ohio and I have NEVER SEEN ONE

Hello,

I am a RP supporter from Columbus, Ohio. I have NEVER seen one tv ad on either cable or network tv. I also have NEVER heard one radio ad.

I would like to know, where the heck was all that money spent????

Just my $.02

Zombie

I want to know....don't you?

I want to know which TV ads the Campaign ran in which states and for how many times....and see if it had an effect on the result.

I want to know which, if any, TV ads were working.

I want to know if in those states that Ron took Second in....did he advertize on TV and radio?

Anyone who knows, please let us know how our money is being spent...let us know what is working for you .....

I know we in the grassroots have SIGNS all over the place...have really marketed Ron Paul.... but without TV backup..... in this county, if you are not on TV, you are not Real. As in Real Serious, Real Viable, Really Important, ....etc.... Hence, being on TV is very very important, especially with a MSM black out 20 days before Super Tuesday...

The Ron Paul messege deserves a 30 minute infomercial....well put together, on all the policy issues...and it needs to run at all odd hours of the day and key times when debates are on...

If you are in the Campaign at HQ... please forward my questions. Thanks,

Treg / Tempe, AZ

In Arkansas

we did...We seen television ads beginning about seven or eight days ago, heard radio ads, received RP postcards, RP recorded phone messages, etc. The TV ad was the best released by the campaign thus far, IMHO. It had the remaining candidates, including Paul, and one by one the issues made the other candidates disappear with only RP remaining. Heres the youtube...

So are you saying...

That for seven or eight days straight... you saw Ron Paul TV ads....or you saw a few TV ads seven or eight days ago only?

So far, of all the people to respond, you are telling me that HQ did more in Arkansas than anywhere else.... yet this was the result. Paul 5%?

Was there an active Ron Paul Grass Roots there? Many meet ups?

I must wonder aloud, in the the state that Ron took 2nd place, did he advertize by TV ????

radio ad in minnesota

heard one on the radio today in minnesota.

saw one ad on faux @530 pm in Texas

I'm guessing it was a national ad.....it was weak......compared to "ken doll" Romney's which were professionally done..... made his punk ass look appealing ,to the moronic American Public anyway....giving them that sunshiney feeling of hope smoke blown up their arse....IMHO

None in St Louis

Missouri is a winner-take-all state, so unless he was going to carry the state, there is no point in wasting time or money here. Hardly any visits from Republican candidates. Vote results show him at 5% at 8:30 pm.

true

and where did mcwarmonger get all that money to run ads on all the channels all day long?

North Dakota

Ron Paul has had at least two different ads running in North Dakota, and I think all day long. I always see them during commercial breaks for the news. They started about a week ago.

No RP TV ads here..

in West Georgia.

Im in SF bay are

I havent seen any TV spots but I have heard on 5 different times a ron paul radio ad on KGO newstalk radio. The part that got me was when the radio host Gil Gross thats his name blasted Ron Paul for the racist letter episode. Then he went to break and I hear a Ron Paul commercial. I was pissed, how dare they attack a sponser on their own network would they do that to McDonalds and mention how crappy their hamburgers are right after a commercial I think not. As for the other person from bay area saying Ron Paul hasnt stepped foot in bay area they are delusional. He had ahuge rally at google just south of San francisco. He also was int he city in Octiber for a dinner event. He has some supporters here I live in the east bay and we have signs all over. In fact I have not seen another sign except Ron Paul signs and in tracy ca the two main streets are flooded with signs. Thanks to my good buddy Mario :) Paul fanatics here in the East Bay.

Delusional, no. I never

Delusional, no.

I never implied that he has no supporters in the Bay Area.
I probably should have been more specific and written that he has not set foot in the San Francisco area for an open public appearance.
Meaning places accessible to us city-dwellers who do not own cars and that can be attended by the general public.
And not anytime that would be relevant to gaining support for the primaries.

Google headquarters is pretty damn far away from S.F. and that appearance was last July. A long time ago.
Last October isn't very recent, either, and I believe said dinner was at a local meet-up group somewhere in the Peninsula.

He actually was in San Francisco last September, but $500 a person sure is a lot of money for breakfast and I can't really label that a "public appearance."

*** None of this is intended to be hostile toward RP or his campaign.
I am a passionate supporter who has converted many people, including my parents, and donated to the campaign even though I barely make enough money to cover my rent. At 36 years old this is the first time I've ever cared enough to register and vote. Dr. Paul cured my apathy, too. ***

Nothing on TV in San

Nothing on TV in San Francisco. Then again, I didn't see ads for any republicans here.

My boyfriend ran into some RP supporters handing out the DVDs a couple of weeks ago in the big weird mall on Market Street downtown.
He also saw some sign wavers yesterday at a prime location during the evening rush hour (yay!), but that's about it.
It's not really surprising considering that, to the best of my knowledge, RP hasn't set foot anywhere near the Bay Area.

On the other side, Hillary and Obama ads have been annoying the crap out of me at least twice an hour for weeks now, though.

saw one here in so cal last night

joez

i think...

...Paul only placed ads where he is guaranteed to win, just to secure those votes and continue on to the National Convention. Remember, he does have a lot of money left; only about $12 Million from now until the convention.

I doubt he placed any ads in winner-take-all states. That would be a waste of money. I doubt he placed ads in very democrat areas, that would have been a waste of money. I doubt he placed ads where McCain and Romney were definitely going to win, that would have been a waste of money. Which leaves, a handful of cities around the country that gets to see some commercials.
