THINK....money, dude...or lack of.
RP asked for 23 million in 'Dec. (atop 20 mill account already committed to other primaries + Super T.) RP needed min. 50 million really to go Super T. (has had about 13 mill).
Base gave 5 million to date... only..toward RP 23 mill ask.
The money bomb for MLK only netted another 2-3 mill...or so, so RP asked for 8 mill.
Which did not happen either.
He had 8 mill left going to Super T--with another 3 mill or so given...about 13 mill to go Super T.
That's it folks.
Why don't people use their brains...before spouting their mouths?
ADDENDUM: Comparative : Romney spent 30 mill in one state- FL alone---RP had less than half that 13 mill to go 24 states.

I realize you don't care what I think, but I will post this for the 100's of others who will read it.
In March 2007 this "movement" had ten bucks and a ham sandwich. The doc hoped to get his message out before being blown into the weeds. He should know. He has gotten nothing but spit from the establishment for 10 terms why should he expect anything else this time around?
Then something happened that has nothing to do with money. One miracle after another and then.......
you arrived at the Daily Paul four weeks ago.
In that time the following has happened:
About 15,000 people joined Meetup groups and we have raised just about $5M.
Dr. Paul came in second in Nevada and I have it from Maine Campaign HQ that he has close to 40% of the delegates going to Maine state GOP convention placing him ahead of McCain and second to Romney.
I realize that this isn't good enough for you and that we are all failures for not raising another bazillion dollars, but, it is good enough for me.
I know that Rome wasn't built in a day...I read a book about it once.
We want it more than they do so we keep up the morale and thank the Lord for what we DO have.

...please explain, using the logic exemplified above, the sucess of both Huckabee and McCain. Both had significantly LESS money than Ron Paul, and STILL DO.
Quit beating up the base.

Early in the process, who are you kidding, wake up!!!!!!!!!!! after today, if RP has no one at least one state and collected delegates in other second and third places, he is done in the republican chase.

He doesn't need to win even one state.. it's the majority of delegates in 5 states. He technically has 2 of those so far. Chill on the 3rd party deal, btw.... Ron has as much chance of winning a third party ticket as you do if you run right now.

Let's try this...
1. It's really REALLY early in not only the race, but in our movement.
2. It's the message. stupid!
3. The vast majority of America is not going to wake up until something really BAD happens.. the economy is going to help the movement.
4. No matter what happens, make a promise to yourself.. be vocal, be unwilling to compromise, and get the message out... truth will eventually prevail... History shows us that.

....the amount spent by all of the candidates from all the parties up until the November election. RP has collected plenty of money for this point in the campaign.

Going into Super T. Ron Paul had 1/2 of what Romney spent in Fl alone.
30 mill. Romney spent in one state.
RP has 13 mill to go 24 states today.

What about the OBVIOUS...
Both Huckabee and McCain raised WAY LESS than Ron Paul, and have done BETTER.
It is NOT the funding. It is the lack of EARLY sucesses, in terms of PRIMARIES AND CAUCUSES.
Also, early sucesses would have created momentum, which would have created credibility and electability in the mind of mainstream media and voters NOT ALREADY supporters of Ron Paul. Early sucesses would have energized the base supporters.
Energized base + credibility/percieved electability = MORE supporters = MORE funding.
Quit blaming the base. The "official" campaign did not translate our movement into votes.
