NY voters read HERE! - problems with voting machine "failures", on Republican side

My meetup group just sent out this notice:

greetings from RP NYC HQ,

we are receiving numerous accounts of voting machine "failures" on the republican side.

voters are unable to pull on the Ron Paul lever once in machine. voters being asked to complete a affidavit.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS WHEN VOTING:

1. receive your RED card and approach machine.
2. give attendant RED card
3. ENSURE A RED LIGHT APPEARS AT UPPER RIGHT CORNER....NOT GREEN
4. pull lever all the way right
5. vote Ron Paul
6. pull lever all the way left
7. exit machine

problems are arising it appears when the attendant does not put the machine to republican RED LIGHT.

DO NOT ENTER MACHINE IF THE LIGHT IS GREEN...ONLY RED

Here is all of the problems that I had to go through here in NY. After handing the red card to the lady and entering the booth, the trouble began!

here's the way to fix that

Why can't you take a ball pean hammer into the booth and make that lever work? Then you can repair it with duct tape.

Sounds like you guys need some good old fashion red neck voters up there.

That may be the funniest post I've seen on DP.

I had no problem voting today and saw no impropriety. The ladies were actually very polite and friendly.

in my county, they use those too - no paper ballots, no computers. all levers, where when you open the curtain to leave the booth, it tabulates your vote & resets for next voter (something like that).
