Five Minute Stump Speech to the GOP

I delivered this 5 minute stump speech today to my counties GOP women before the Caucus today at their lunch meeting. (it actually took me about 8 minutes)

The women cheered on 4-5 ocassions, we passed out pocket sized constitutions, and lots of Ron Paul literature. They were very pleased for the free copy of the constitution and had a lot of great questions.

And I think we won 4 or 5 new supporters who are holding caucuses tonight and are old time GOPers!!!

Introduction:

-Myself
-The movement
-Talk about what the Ron Paul movement is doing for the republican party,
-registering new republicans by the tens of thousands
-increasing participation and activity within the GOP and
promotion of the core values of republicans.

A quick summary of Ron Paul: (say this pretty quickly)
Ron Paul is tenth term congressman who has always voted exactly the way he says he will and is a strong fiscal conservative, 100% pro life, Pro national security, Constitutional economy, sound money, lawful war, gun ownership, free speech loving republican and is the strongest advocate of Americans everywhere.

Ron Paul wants to return the power of government to the people and get the government out of our pockets and out of our lives.

I. Pro life
-Is 100% pro life
-Is an obstetrician and has delivered over 4,000 babies and has never found it nesecary to perform a single abortion for any reason.
-Supports the Life begins at conception ACT

II. Economy
-All Americans should have equal freedom to do business without the many pitfalls of legislation and no bid brokering designed to make the rich richer and destroy the middle class.
-Opposses government grants and legislation favoring foreign businesses over citizen owned businesses.
-Stop borrowing from China, Saudia Arabia, and England
-Stop NAFTA and CAFTA legislation that is hurting our economy
-Stop printing billions of dollars and deflating our currency
-End the deceptive centralized privately owned money machine known as the Federal Reserve

III. Fiscal Responsibility
-Balanced budgets
-Never Voted for a tax increase
-Always returns part of congressional budget
-Does not participate in congressional pension plan and has never voted to increase his own pay

IV. Sound Money
-In 1973 we were taken off the gold standard
-Reagan said that no great country who abandoned the gold standard had ever remained great
-Gold Backed Money
-Private currencies that the government can not hyper-inflate or use as deception against the people
or to fund nation building around the world.

V. Taxes
-Ending the IRS and returning to a 1997 budget
-Protecting property rights

VI. Sovereignty
-Secure our borders
-End birthright citizenship
-Trade with all nations entangling alliances with none
-Ban the unconstitutional RFID that is currently being used to track cattle and convicts and doubles as a skin implant tracking device

VII. War and nation building
-End the war on drugs which has proved unsuccessful
-End the war in Iraq as quickly and safely as possible
-Supports War declared by congress
-Opposed the preemptive strike on Iraq for lack of empirical evidence
-Supported hunting down the terrorists
-Stop blowing up and rebuilding other nations bridges and start building our own bridges
-Stop giving tens of billions a year in foreign aid to countries around the world and especially those that harbor terrorists.
-Close all foreign military bases and stop policing the world while securing our own land

Conclusion:
Christians read the bible because they are Christian, (pause) As Americans we should read the constitution and vote for the candidate that will follow the constitution.
It is our job to restrict the government
Please think about your vote with very careful consideration

Ron Paul is the republican candidate that is pulling support from Republicans, Democrats, independents, and all political parties and is the candidate that can and I believe will defeat Hillary or any that the other party has to offer.
