vote dident count, not a joke!

i just voted in stafford ct, the machine sayed vote counter 500, i put in paper ballot, spit it back at me and i put it in again and took it and still sayed 500, i made sure everyone in the room heard me say it dident count my vote, i had a lady come to me and say i just saw it wrong, but i did not, ive emailed ron pauls web sight and this web sight, and tryed one fourm but wouldent let me on, i want some info on this before its to late if i/we can do anything at all.

First, fill out this affidavit to the best of your ability.
Here is additional information.
Second, contact the campaign and let them know what happened and that you have a affidavit to fill out. They can instruct you from there (they'll probably want you to send them a copy in addition to the copy that will go to CT).

i thought it might refresh too but i stood talking to the lady for about 2 mins or so and it did not go up, and last time i voted in town elections, in same place with same machines when i put the paper in the number went up. this time it did not

ok, i looked it up and it looked like a diebold accuvote os. if you look it up and see a pic, it has a little screen the the left of where you put paper in, on the bottom line right corner it shows count of votes. that number did not move for me!

Perhaps they don't show a new vote total until the machine refreshes? I don't know...

Unfortunately I didn't even think to check the counter I was so excited to vote for the first time. I put my ballot in and it took the whole thing then all of a sudden from nowhere it spit the f***ing thing right back at me. I put it in again and it took it. I should have checked the counter but felt like maybe I got away with 2 ron paul votes anyway so I was like haha nice. Didn't even think to check the counter. It's a small little digital screen and hard to read anyway. Definitely setup for people to ignore the counter. :(

That seems to be a key bit of info we're missing. If 500 is something else (the model number, the election number, the precinct number) then this is all nonsense.

i just talked to my mom, she said she asked how she knew if it counted and had no clue there was even a counter. so she did not see if it even counted cause she dident even know there was a way to tell, guess the guy said it counts your vote once it gets sucked in, but she dident know about the counter,

The machine is set-up to ignore a Ron Paul vote. We should call and investigate nonetheless..

yes i get it was a joke but this is very important to me and im not joking at this time. i want and we need ron paul in office, hes our olny hope, and i want to help anyway i can, if my vote dident count i want to know why, i am not happy at all, i got the joke and not trying to be mean but not a joking matter
I hate to say it, but...
This happened to me today too.. I've been searching Google see if this is normal behavior because I don't want to be an alarmist, but I know for sure the count was 139 before I slid my ballot in, and it was at 139 after the big black box took my ballot.. It'll be interesting to see what everyone else has to say..

and how could i have evdince, i just got out of work, im a diesel mechanic, i was under a truck all day, i wasent thinking anything would go wrong and i was very very carfull to make sure i did it right because i for the frist time ever was excited to vote, i asked someone at every step if i was doing it right, the counter did not go up and i let everyone in the room hear me say it, everyone looked up with a oh crap look and a mean old lady came saying "you saw it wrong, "you saw it wrong". i was tried after work and didnot fell like fighting but driving home i got mad, ron need every vote, and i want to know win or ..i wont say it, that my vote counted for freedom. i didnet know i should be taking pics or having someone looking at the screen, there were people working the poll standing right there but not looking at the machine, they were about 5 feet away telling me what to do and talking to eachother, and if it dident count me, how do i know if it counted my mom who i made switch partys to vote for ron, she dont know about computers and stuff, she would never know to look at the counter and she cant see good, she wouldent even be able to read it even if she knew it was there
Ask the Precinct Workers
--if your poll is still open--or call your county office tomorrow.
During voting, the precinct workers can check the Diebold machines at any time for a tally. After the voting is done, they or the county can check ballot #500 and see which candidate was selected. In fact ask which candidate was selected for #500 before you tell them who you voted for. Maybe ask for #499 and #501 as well.
My county lists precinct results online. I will be watching the online results for my precinct closely since I canvassed a goodly portion of mine and a neighboring precinct.

oh and it was a paper ballot, you fill in the bubble then walk it to a machine that looks like a photo copyer, and it suckes it in, it was not called a vote country 500, the screen says vote total and a number, if it was 573 or something i would agree with the girl i might have missed it, but it was 500, it would have been 499,500,501, easy to catch, it did not go up, im sorry i dident go into detail but dident know it it would post my fourm, i typed it all out on 2 diffrent fourms and it rejucted me cause i wasent a member and dident wanna type it all if it wouldent work.
