Broadening the support base for Ron Paul

Please tell me I am wrong, but I do not see enough minorities participating. For example, in my (Dallas) area, I am the only minority supporter physically involved in terms of participating in sign waving, straw poll, marches, meetup group meetings, etc. Look at the pictures posted from New York, and Chicago you see very few. How can we get more minorities to come out and stump for Ron Paul?
I know some have contributed financially but it will be nice to see more boots on the ground.

I see plenty...
I see/hear a lot of minorities supporting Ron.
In NH he gets the most support from blacks in the independent voting block.
I personally know Spanish, Pakistani, and Chinese people who love Ron.
He has the servicemen, and a lot of older people here too, especially those who remember what it was like before all this patriot act nonsense.
Then there are college students...
If you want more minorities then go hand out flyers at multicultural fairs, as I plan to do tomorrow!

Another minority group
So, many of the folks that vote R are older retired folks that don't have a computer... let's make sure we don't just count of web folk...
web outreach
The easiest way to promote Ron Paul is to bring him up on websites that gear towards minorities or attract them. I have posted on music blogs about Ron Paul. Like a lot of other people who only watch mainstream news, I am sure many potential supporters have not heard of him in the African-American community. For example, he mentioned at one debate that the war of drugs has been unfair to African-Americans in particular. In terms of immigration, and it is a tough subject especially for Hispanic-Americans, I would say that he's for border control, but he isn't against allowing immigrants to come here altogether. I would bring minority supporters in with issues that many resonate more with them.
we are diverse
My meetup in portland has a russian and a columbian. the columbian guy says he likes the 2nd amendment because he has seen the violence resulting in his home country, where law abiding citizens have no self defense and the drug lords are always shooting people. I don't know why the russia is for RP. Could be the example of her mother Russia.
Hispanics are probably not going to be for him....
... because of his stance on immigration. What other minorities do you think will support RP and why?
possibly
He says they are the scapegoats of the whole deal. He knows they are being taken advantage of in many ways also.
Need an active 500,000 base
I totally agree. We need to find a way to reach out to all minorities. We need to have a support base goal that is clear. Does anyone know how many supporters RP has out there? Out of these how many are actively involved or contributing regularly? We need to establish this as an important goal and follow it up regularly like a graph of supporters/month.
