According to this results page from the Sec state. Paul is in 17% with only 96 votes, however if you look down the page it lists the results from the Constitution party, where he has taken 79%. With 65 votes. If those who decided that party was more important than country would have wised up switched parties and supported Paul as a Republican, Paul may have had a chance.

they put party over 'freedom'.
sorry,it is b/c of individual freedom/sovereignty that i support US sovereignty. not b/c of love of country. that is secondary.
evidently,they thought they were putting constitution [and perhaps hence freedom?]ahead of both party and country?
