My 13 YO Son Just Turned on CNN & FLIPPED OUT! Yelling WHATS WRONG with these people! They are ruining the country for US!!

0 votes

He was very upset when he turned the TV on and started watching the results. When he said US, he meant his age group, and said "I dont understand why the American people were so DUMB. Why dont they understand that Ron Paul is our only hope! They are ruining this for us when we grow up. Now we will have to move to another country!" He said as he banged his fist on the kitchen table.

I told him that there are still many states to go. Not to give up hope. We are in this until it's over, and it isnt over yet!

I had to encourage him because I have literally never saw him so upset.

When a 13 year old can see the truth, I shake my head at the so called "Grown Ups" who are shaping our country for their future.

umm, this is all great, but

umm, this is all great, but why the hell are people reviving this topic? its old...

that is GREAT NEWS!

kids talk to kids and thinking children turn into thinking adults...

It is a great message of hope. Maybe he will be President some day.

Can't say what I was thinking about when I was thirteen..and not cause I don't remember...

cw

we are in this because we love our children more than anyone

We love them enough not buy somthing for ourselves that they will have to pay for later.

It may be a sad truth that

only Ron Paul supporters even understand the issues or there is massive vote fraud. Exit polls keep showing that the majority of the GOP is anti-Bush and anti-war but the majority of the vote goes to Mc Insane who is the most pro-Bush pro-war guy running? Whats up with wanting change in the GOP? Are the people voting so clueless? Do the masses just go out and vote for who the MSM is telling them are winning? Has anyone seen any real McCain support on the ground? Signs? Bumper stickers? His people at any event? His Meetup has 157 members and 7 groups. Ron Paul has 107,038 members and 1611 groups. How did he win California when at the GOP debate there was a huge Ron Paul turnout, the were much less people for Huck and Mitt but I never saw in any video a single McCain sign. Same thing in Florida. I live here. I have never seen any kind of McCain support. Every debate here was swamped with Ron Paul supporters. The Straw Poll in Tampa was won by Mitt but video shows he cheated and it was clear that Paul supporters out numbered the rest 6 to 1 and that is being generous. McCain was not even on any map of real polls taken in Florida, no ground support, no signs, nothing. How the heck dose he win if the vote was not fixed?

How does it happen

That Ron paul wins his congressional seat by a landslide 70% yet, in the same moment at the ballot box, they turn and vote for someone else for president and Paul gets 7%??? Can that even be a remote possibility? If so how...how...HOW!!!!!!!

u kno the answer to ur last

u kno the answer to ur last question, mb u dont want to say it explicitly.
but u mention in the latter part of ur first statement.

i live in new jersey, where mccain supposedly swept. bull.sh. there are NO mccain signs anywhere, and no visible or audible sign of people supporting him. ur right, there is very solid evidence suggesting that he has much more support than any other candidate, especially republican. of course, the votes show otherwise.

i dont believe in the idiocy of the american population. i think a very large portion of the population is aware of ron paul, what he represents, and how he and we are being suppressed. we are just led to believe that we are the minority. then we dont complain when mccain gets placed on the throne by the establishment, saying "i guess there are dumb people out there"

the question is, what do we do once our voices are obviously subverted once again?

Here's Where His Support Is Coming From

Vote RON PAUL 2008

And Let Your Son Know This

Vote RON PAUL 2008
______________
He is not alone in his concern // I have a 13 year old grandson, in fact, I have a total of six grandchildren. When I hear MCCAIN say idiotic things like we will stay at war for the next 100 years -- He's talking about my grandchildren. As if they mean no more to him than a means to win an election by twisting the minds of those that would agree with him. It takes all kinds in this world, but the really intelligent and peace-loving among us KNOW we need peace for the next 100 years -- not war.

We need RON PAUL and our voice continues to be heard even in the face of media that intentionally shuts us out and then promotes their candidates of choice. Of course they are only the mouth piece for those behind the curtain that could care less about any of our children (we've already lost 5000 in a war that should never have happened -- and the other side has been hundreds of thousands, if not more, lost and maimed for no reason other than the pursuit of greed) // Not for my grandkids! I will have none of that.

And I'm a 26-year military career enlisted soldier (long retired) that served our country because I wanted to do my part in helping keep our country free and safe -- an unnecessary war, a war based upon obvious lies is not something I signed on for, nor do I support such idiotic nonsense.

I understand your son's frustrations but he needs to be informed that there are still us here in this land that have his best interest at heart and will demand that right prevail over wrong and that crazies like this MCCAIN and his war chant be quieted and hushed away as we promote the likes of RON PAUL, regardless of the lies of the complicit media and the corrupt few that would have it otherwise.

Keep the faith.

My son was the one who introduce me to Ron Paul....

Go figure that it seems our children have more wisdom than the adult population [based on February 5th voting].

I received an email at work one day...the email was from my [then 16 year old] son. In his email he attached a Ron Paul video and wrote: "Watch this video Mom. This guy is my Hero"

I watched the video and looked forward to checking my email at work everyday because a new video always was waiting for me.

My son introduced me to his Hero and now Ron Paul is my Hero.

Nobody had to convince me or persuade me....all I had to do was listen to Ron Paul speak and I was converted....it's that gray matter between my ears [hehehehe].

Singed,
Sheeple no more.

My 14 year old son

My son gets it too! He has watched every debate with me and thinks that the MSM candidates look like idiots. He get's Ron Paul. I have spent the last year teaching him about the Fed, monetary policy, geo-politics, war and oil. I have shown him what the world looks like from the top of the pyramid. He sees how the MSM manipulates everything. I've taught him that it's all about GOD. Gold, Oil and Drugs. I have to spend time unteaching him what he has learned at school. He questions everything which causes me to get phone calls from teachers.

People are waking up folks. We will get there, it's just going to take some time. 95% of the American population are totally brain dead.

Peace!

My personal favorites are Essays of Arthur Schopenhauer, Penguin Publishing's The Portable Enlightenment Reader and Common Sense by Thomas Paine. Check out the essay works of Benjamin Franklin, Samuel Adams (father of American Revolution), Samuel Johnson and William Hazlitt if interested in the breadth of knowledge -- Paine and the aforementioned four were lucid writers.

Man, sounds like a Son of Liberty.
Respect to you!
Sounds like he could teach the class, and even the teachers ;)

Three weeks ago, in one of his classes, the kids had to team up and profile one of the candidates. They were selected for them. My son got Obama. I helped him a little and gave him some facts about Obama. The two I gave him were the Obama, as well as the rest of the MSM candidates, are CFR. The second was that he smoke cigarettes. During the discussion, my son made a reference to Hitler Hillary. WOW. I'm sure that got the class going.

Keep the Faith!

One last comment on this

He came to me last night and said "Mom, if we had just one week, one week on CNN, MSNBC, and FOX, where Ron Paul could just sit there and explain everything, that is all we would need, and everyone would vote for him.

Simple but true.

Common psychological fallacy

It's one of the most common psychological fallacies that "if only I had a chance to explain my position, everyone else would have to believe in it."

It's not surprising that a child believes in it.

It's also, unfortunately, completely wrong. There are lots of people who would never accept the Ron Paul message, no matter how long and hard we tried to show them. They might just be stubborn, or they might just have different core values. If they have different core values (security over liberty, or planning over individuality) then they're just not going to change, even if you talk until you're blue in the face.

Let me tell you ....

And this is the Gods Honest Truth ... My son is very mature, and was naturally interested in this election. When I first began supporting Dr. Paul, I explained to him why I did. He came to sign waves with me, and we handed out Slim Jims ect at the mall.

Then as he began to see the other candidates, especially Obama and Hillary, (He watched ALL THE DEBATES, even the ones during which I had fallen asleep!) he came and asked me more questions. So I asked him to write out a list of issues, and we spent time looking up each of the candidates, and where they stood on each.

When NICKELODEON had the Kid's Primary, he made sure that we were home that night to watch it, and he was so excited to VOTE for Dr. Paul ... checking the website over and over to find out the results.

Bottom line is ... that kids his age have this uncanny ability to see through the BS easier than most adults. Chris (my son) knew from his own research, that Dr. Paul was Hope for America, and he gave out of his own allowance money to the campaign (combining it with my donation).

He was extremely distressed last night, and I know that today will be worse once he sees the final results.

What have I taught my boy? Have your OWN MIND. Realize that the MEDIA is slanted. I cant tell you how many times he would freeze frame a MSM story about the GOP candidates and call me into the Living Room to show me that they only had the pictures of the Huckmiester, McRomniac and McInsane! I taught my son to be a LEADER, not a follower. Wear the sneakers YOU like, instead of what everyone else is wearing. YOU be a trendsetter. Research things on your OWN and dont just listen to what others tell you is the truth.

I applied that way of thinking even in this election. I didnt want him to be my little PaulBot ... and he wasn't.

He knows that this country will belong to his generation in the not so distant future, and he even at his young age, can see the writing on the wall without Dr. Paul as President.

As I told him last night - ONWARD PATRIOTS

Shame on you people that think 13 is too young to know the truth

I have been telling my 13 yo son the truth for the last 4 months. He is intelligent enough to know what is going on and I owe that much too him to let him know the truth. Do you actually think that they are going to get the real truth from their public teachers? That is the problem with America.. No one is willing to stand up and tell the truth. Let everyone else educate my kid, because I don't care or I don't have the time... Do you really have an idea what this Federal education system is teaching your kids? It's a sad state of affairs and if you think you are shielding your child from the evil in the world, you are only making it worse, when they enter and understand the REAL World...which will be a lot worse than it is now!!!!

well said...well said...well said.

how can people get so excited about

these cadidates that offer more of the same old thing? what happened to the 60-70% of america that wanted out of this BULLsh!t war! I watch these people on TV rallying around thes Fake people running for president, and I have to wonder, are there really that maney people in the world that are that stupid.
The world laughs at how stupid we are as a nation. Like when Dictator W was re elected. I find it so hard to believe that with a once in a lifetime chance, a once in a lifetime man, running for president, that he does not have 98% of the people in this country Democrats republicans and independants voting for him. Who can hear the message of Liberty and freedom and not say " Yeah that's for me, that's what I want, that's what I want for my chidren" I just Don't get it. People in this country really make me sad.

Bad news, the Georgia guidestones are real

and there are plenty of kooks and monsters who agree with them. This is not ours or our children's planet. It's theirs, always has been and will continue to be so until the day that we drag them out of their towers. We out number them 1000 to 1 but always act like sheep to the slaughter.

With all the robotic factories today there is no need for so many workers in the world. All most of us are doing is serving each other a whirlwind of useless junk and fancy gadgets. The world elite could certainly get along with a lot less of us consuming their resources and fouling their air and water.

Ah yes

I seem to remember the same emotional sentiments that resonated in absolutely no one my age during those years.

Nowadays feeling the same way, Its easy enough to indulge in a night of virtual taking it out on the establishment the only way I know - playing America's Army online while jammin to Immortal Technique. :)

Probly not the best thing for a 13yr old tho.

A few things to consider..

A lot of politicians that infiltrate our system and prime it for more corruption today are born and bread to be politicians. If your 13 year old son is this passionate about politics and clearly represents the constitution, perhaps this is an opportunity.

He is at the perfect age to get started. Sit him down and tell him that he can make a difference! Encourage him to get a good education (law helps but not necessary) and keep his nose clean and when his continued education is done if he still feels so passionatly, he should consider a run for local government and work his way up.

He is still young though and of course you would encourage a normal childhood. However if he likes the idea, you two can make politics a bit of a 'hobby' the two of you can enjoy together in the mean time.

Just make sure he stays young and happy and politics is just a hobby. Maybe he can even get involved in the community to boost support by doing some voluntary community service once a year somewhere. If he's a good kid, educated and known in his community, he's virtually a shoe-in for local government. From there on out it's just the next logical step.

There are lots of things he can do in his life to be a hero, this is one of them. Good luck, and tell him we all feel the same way he does right now. He's not alone and he's already got many many friends here.

Law school

ruins more good minds than anything else!

You have to be very wise and able to wade hip-deep to outlast the garbage they teach in law school. Better STUDY LAW before you even go!

Otherwise, you end up part of the system before you even started fighting it.

uuummmm NOT

In law school I was surrounded by offspring of the good old boys (judges, politicians and what not), anarchists and lots of people wanting a good job.

I learned to see situations from many different perspectives, to think critically, to speak ahead of my opponent if possible, and to argue. I learned how to absorb a lot of information in a short length of time and to organize it on the spot. In practice I learned how to ask the questions that are not supposed to be asked, to find what is being hidden and shine the light of day on it. People with something to hide don't like being exposed no matter what the case or file is about.

These are all neutral skills. Everyone should study some law in high school because it is less about cases and statutes than it is a study of human nature, which has resulted in the cases and way too often, in statutes.

What you do with the skills is up to you.

What I have not yet learned is how to organize my time so my life and my loved ones come first.
