Starting our own state

Maybe you will think this is ludicrous, but if all RP supporters were willing to move we could occupy our own state, possibly two. Maybe we could even somehow succeed from the union.

NC is a nice state, lovely mountains and awesome beaches. great weather too, not too hot, not too cold, just right. land outside the main cities can be had sorta cheap. and i wouldn't have to move ;)

While Maine did OK for RP, we are WAY over taxed and I was planning to move to NH in August. Might have to reconsider that.

The FSP chose NH and about 600 people have already moved here. But it is NOT a secessionist movement. What are you going to secede TO? UN bioregions? That's just what they would love... when they break up our Consitutional government.

I have to tell you one of my favorite states is Utah. Northern Utah has skiing and southern Utah has mild climate in winter. I live in PA but have visited many others.

I live in Utah and I agree it is a great place to live. Unfortunately you would have to overtake the mormons first. However Nevada and Utah would be two states that would be good to take over.
