And frankly, Jesse Benton should have been axed months ago!

From the story:

Paul's spokesman, Jesse Benton, said his boss is not too concerned about the Republican challenge for his congressional seat, but he's not taking any chances either. And Benton admitted there will be some reevaluating done on Paul's presidential bid after Super Tuesday.

He described Paul's quest for the White House as "not entirely quixotic" but called it "a complicated formula" for Paul as to when and how he will exit the race if he becomes sure he cannot do more with his campaign, all the while insisting Paul has no plans to end his campaign.

The Man Has Left His Mark......

"No matter the outcome, Paul's mark on the Republican race is undeniable.
Paul dominated the foreign policy portions of several GOP forums, notably the ABC News/Facebook-sponsored debate before the New Hampshire primary, and effectively made his anti-military involvement plea to bring the troops home at a debate sponsored by CNN in Los Angeles.

Paul's popularity among military members in fundraising should give pause to the other Republican candidates, all supporters of the Iraq war. With the economy nearing a possible recession, even Paul's economic ideas — his constant warnings about inflation, his complaints about the Fed's manipulation of the credit markets and the Treasury Department's manipulation of the dollar — have gotten a second look..."

this article was right on

this article was right on the mark. i'm disappointed with todays results, but Dr Paul's message is clearly not resonating with the general public. people at this site are so quick to condemn the media for any report that doesn't say Ron Paul will be the next President.

People haven't heard his message. If he speaks at the convention

then people will finally hear his message. Unfortunately it might be too late. I have taken upon myself to write a kick-ass speach for Dr. Paul.

his name...

wrong---RP name isn't even getting to the people, much less his message.

Most people haven't even heard of Ron Paul

let alone heard his message so it has nothing to do with not resonating with the general public !!

couldn't agree more vis-a-vis Jesse Benton

and Ron Paul's other friends running the campaign. They should have been men enough to step aside for the good of the campaign and Dr. Paul. Obviously, RP is a loyal friend who was going to bring his long-time associates along. They should have been the ones to make the move. Sad.

Still think he should have hired Dick Morris..

or some other person reknown for running a national campaign.

Only problem with that is I

Only problem with that is I think Dick Morris does not like RP and anyone who opposes illegal immigration and would not work for them. I think he drank the karl rove kool aid in thinking that you must not strongly oppose illegal immigration and must be for amnesty or else you won't get the hispanic vote which they believe is the only vote that really matters now and in the future because so many hispanic illegal aliens are flooding into the country and have been for decades.

i totally agree. ron has a

i totally agree. ron has a bunch of pussies running this campaign. the good doctor is a lousy salesman and there should have been 2 or 3 animals out there touting this message in words that basic Americans can understand and someone teaching him how to debate.

Jesse was standing there

Jesse was standing there when I shook hands with Ron Paul. Being in someone's presence, there is pretty much no way to *not* get an impression, no need to judge them any more than we all always do anyway. My impression is that he has a quiet, resigned nature and is somewhat surprised by all that is happening, rather than driving them. There is no need to fire him, per se, he's surely a good, trusted, trustworthy friend and very good person with a lot of integrity. Just a change of title is all that is needed.

This shows total ignorance

Why would you want a media hack CFR lackey llike Dick Morris to run the campaign of the man we support BECAUSE he is totally uncompromised? Do you realize what you are saying? Do you think Morris would even have anything to DO with RP? Get real. Sure we could be like Huck and sell out for the attention, is that what you want? Why not just go vote for Huck right now.

Jane is right in that Morris

Jane is right in that Morris would never work for RP, or any other candidate who was strongly opposed to illegal immigration and amnesty and truly wanted to put a stop to it. See my above post.

Jane you're not worth my rant

Jane you're not worth my rant

Jane, last time i checked

Jane, last time i checked the Huckster has actually won some states with a message that he makes up as he goes along. How many have we won? you have to have more than just good ideas to win an election.

My mother always said...

If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all.

I prefer the normal blackout to the calls for him to stop the campaign.
