he did not answer the question one man asked about his quest for amnesty for illegals. he totally avoided it.
McCain's comments on Ron Paul
A caller asked if he thought Ron Paul was crazy. He grudgingly admitted that Ron Paul is smart but he believes his (Ron Paul's) views are 'not shared by the majority of the American people'.

Why do the geriatric and children get to ask him lots of questions? This was such an uninformative session. I need to get my Tums. I truly feel sorry for anyone who thinks being American means blind patriotism, that we must support our wars and assume our technology and medicine is the best in the world.
0% interest rate
Ask him why he wants a 0% interest rate, as he said in the latest TV-debate. How could I safely save money for my retirement when interest rates are 0%? And wouldn't that require a credit expansion which causes high inflation?
He obviously doesn't know the first thing about economy, so that's where to squeeze him. Seniors are probably a bit wary about inflation and think that interest rates are good for money savings.
John McCain's non-answers
I just tuned in and a lady asked what he was going to do about our tax dollars going to weapons for the insurgents because of the corrupt Iraqi government. He spoke a lot of words without answering and ended with something like 'I feel your pain'.
Then about taxes he asked for anyone who understands the current tax code to raise their hand. His plan is to form a commission headed by Alan Greenspan or someone like him to figure things out.

Bring up the war or economy
If you want to bring up Ron Paul, draw up a question for McCain to distinguish his own view from that of Ron's. Why does McCain want to see the war in Iraq to the end? What evidence does he use to suggest things are improving there? What would he do to fix our debt? Are there any departments he would cut back in funding? Or ask if he thinks eliminating the Federal Reserve as Ron Paul suggests is feasible or attractive to him. Let's show class to C-Span and the fellow candidates so that they continue to take calls from Ron Paul supporters.
