So, Realistically, What? The Revolution is...?

Huckabee rallied and pushed us out of third spot. So, where does that leave us? I can't see how we have enough chips to be a player at a brokered conventioin. What is the buzz? Do we now divert our energy to make sure the good doctor keeps his congressional seat, and try to figure out how to pay off our credit cards?

Any ideas?

McCain is NOT going to get 1191 delegates, flat out no way!

He doesn't even have 500 right now.

2380 total delegates - he needs 1191 to reach the 51% majority of delegates.

Where is McCain going to pick up more delegates than he did tonight?

And I'm sad to say, history shall decide as well. Hopefully not because that'd be more terrible than I can think of. I certainly don't want that. I don't know many who would. But history rarely ever lies, I'm afraid..

I definitely think the good doctor should run in the general election, but I'm not sure it should be in a 3rd party.

We need to start working on a 3rd party run now! Lets be realistic. We just can not waste time hoping for some miracle to happen at the National GOP Convention that is not until September. Like there is any chance that after the media has declared John McCain the winner and with the full support of the GOP behind him, some how all the undeclared delegates will switch to Ron Paul and he will out of nowhere win the GOP. Not going to happen. Not only that but if it did somehow happen, the majority of the sheep that voted would be pissed off thinking some kind of dirty politics went on and would not vote for Paul in the general election. WE need to capture the momentum we have now and build on it and we have 9 months to do it if we start now. If we wait to see what happens at the Convention then we will have no chance for a 3rd party run.
