"Victory looks impossible, defeat looks inevitable." - I wouldn't say that, for someone who got no promotion in the media, he did very well.

"Our army is tired, ill equipped, out-manned, out-gunned, undertrained, underfunded, and generally in despair." - Maybe you bud, speak for yourself. Ron Paul's finances are in better shape than the others, so this is not true either. And I'm three times your age, and never felt 'tired'.

"This is a time of great uncertainty for us. There will be deserters, there will be nay-sayers, there will even be calls for Dr. Paul to give up." - And for those of us who have been fighting for 20 years or more, we think you are Johnny-come-lately types that don't know what you are talking about. I have 20 years in this fight and I'm NOT giving up. I live it day to day. What have you done before this? What will you do after this? A revolution is not a sound byte or a 30 minute TV show. In the sands of time, we haven't even spent a grain on this. Give up? Ridiculous.

Not to mention that the enemy LOVES to read threads like this. Nothing like letting it all hang out. Have you people had enough negativity for a while? I started a website with NO comments on it, because I wanted pure information to be available for people who have no time for this whining. What have you done lately?

Whether Ron Paul goes third party doesn't matter. Whether Ron Paul goes to a brokered convention doesn't matter. Whether Ron Paul becomes President doesn't matter. What DOES matter is that now we KNOW there are a lot of like minded individuals with FACTS to back up what we know. This R3VOLUTION isn't about winning this presidency per se. It's about galvanizing support for a total shift in the minds of the populace towards Paulian style government, strict adherence to the Constitution and refusing to be bought. The Presidency would be nice, don't get me wrong :)

As our economy comes crashing down it will be PERFECT timing for us to put up billboards across the country, tv ads on local stations, newspaper ads etc., explaining WHY the system is crashing. WHY we can't police the world. WHY the cost of goods are going up. WHY social security is bankrupt. WHY the terrorists attack us.

The population has been lulled to sleep for quite some time. It is going to take a few years to wake them up, but when we do.....look out!!! Ron Paul has already won folks!! There are now enough of us to come together and actually make a coordinated effort at changing the debate. One of the primary methods of propagandist populace control is to control the debate....what is deemed acceptable and what is not. Well now Ron Paul has put a MASSIVE dent into that control. We just HAVE to keep hammering away until it cracks and then winds up bursting from the pressure of a widespread enlightening of the populace.

I mean, we have Joe Cramer, Stephen Colbert, Glenn Beck and many other mainstream media pundits who are actually going hrmmmmmm this guy is actually making sense. We can't just give up. We have to run with the ball that Ron Paul has handed off to us. As he stated, this is OUR revolution and he is very thankful to be a part of it.

It is now our duty as citizens to strengthen our determination and let it be forged hard as steel by the blatant electioneering attempts done by the mainstream media. Millions of people saw what happened this year and although they know what is right and wrong, they didn't want to *throw their vote away*. You don't know how many people said I agree with Ron Paul whole heartedly, but he just can't win. That's ok you know. THOSE are the people who will become part of this movement as our economy comes tumbling down.

It's about spreading the truth by using the establishments very own propaganda outlets to sway public opinion. I think by and large MANY people never even got to hear Ron Paul's message. It will be up to us to change that. I am bent on changing my country for the better and hope you will all bravely put your face to the wind as we march onward.

I wish that, during a debate, Dr. Paul would question John McCain regarding military tactics. Is it not a sound policy to re-group your forces in order to prepare them for another push into enemy territory? Why does this not apply in the War on Terrorism? Does it also not apply to the Ron Paul revolution?

My work is done when the Doc is out or inaugurated, and not a nanosecond earlier.

We are the Ron Paul Revolutionaries. We do not cut and run. Stay strong people and remain part of The Remnant (for an explanation of The Remnant, see here [short] and here [long]).

Some of these sunshine patriots that have joined our revolution in recent months took the 'red pill' and woke up briefly, only to yearn for the 'blue pill' so they can go back to sleep again. Only problem is, this is not a movie - once you wake up, you stay awake. The choice is before you - go home and be apathetic for the rest of your life or stay and fight. The good doctor has already laid out his plan. Lets stick with it until he says otherwise.

A quick personal story. I began my own mini revolution 14 years ago. Every week I would stand up in my economics and political science classes at college and university and give presentations (as you do). I was basically saying similar things to what Doctor Paul is saying right now. I felt like the lonliest guy on campus sometimes. People would laugh and snicker at me, argue with me; several times I was warned by my faculty to tone down my "passion and rhetoric".

I would counter by saying that I'm just telling the truth. Sometimes I felt like Galileo and Copernicus must have felt all those years ago when they were trying to advance their heliocentric view of the universe (remember Colbert last week: "...the earth goes around the sun, THE EARTH GOES AROUND THE SUN!!!")

In my naivety, I thought that I was the only person in the world who believed in truth, honesty and freedom. Eventually, the Internet came along and I realised there were lots of us in the world. Now, I have people like Ron Paul and thegalli (above) to stand at my side. One day, we will be in the majority, and the criminal gangster politicians will wither away to nothingness. Until that day, I'll never give in.

Amen, brother. That just may be the greatest analogy in the Ron Paul R3VOLUTION. Of course, I'm biased...unlike most of you whom worship Thomas Jefferson (I do admire him greatly), Washington is my hero...so I really love the imagery that your words bring.

Defeat has never been an option. What a lot of you here fail to realize is that this revolution has been going on for quite some time...a good 10-15 years (AT LEAST! It sure as hell isn't new.)...and it surely won't die regardless of what happens. What you must understand is that no revolution has been won through peace and obedience. Would I like to change that, ABSOLUTELY...but I am also willing to fight for it.

ARE YOU? If not, you don't deserve it.

Preach on! I wonder why so many people ready to abandon ship ever got on the RP train to begin with. If a quick, easy battle was what you wanted, what the hell are you doing here?!! This was NOT the place to come for the easy, quick knockout punch.

The founders that gave us this country would be ashamed.
