MONEY BOMB ENDORSEMENT FROM HQ
Everyone, please contact the campaign (as I just did) and ask that the RonPaul2008.com website post something like, "Join us March 4th in celebrating of the birth of our country's Constitution." Just those few words would cement the grassroots base on a single, enormous money bomb. We will never have money bombs like we did last fall unless we can all agree on a date. I think that Constitution Day (March 4th) is a great day! An "endorsement" by HQ (without expressly stating so) would create momentum and guarantee success (we have enough time if we do this NOW). If you support this idea, please let the campaign know ASAP. Well-planned money bombs have been the lifeblood of this campaign's fundraising. Thank you to all supporters!
P.S. Trevor, if you're out there, please publicly endorse this money bomb soon. It means a lot to all of us!

I think contacting the HQ is a good idea, but
it seems the rarely listen to us. I really feel HQ let us down. We did so much, and they just expect us to keep doing it without any direction, or thank yous. They could have easily have access to the e-mail database and thank us or give us updates, but they didn't. I mean during the revolutionary war did we just grab guns and fight, or did we have people like George Washington take charge. The only way to beat the establishment is organization, and that is what we lacked. I mean we had organization and what we pulled off was amazing, but it was not to the level that it could have been. We had hundreds of thousands of supporters, and we had to go to forums, to learn what was going on. There was no top down, it was all bottom up so it did not grow as much as I think it could have. There could have been private speeches addressed to the grassroots on youtube instead of us having to tape the speeches addressed to a specific location and then added to youtube by a grassroot supporter. I sill support Ron Paul and will continue to do so because this is a fight for our freedom. But we need another level of organization, with timely communication between the supporters. People can only do so much until they are united into a real organization. It took the 13 colonies to defeat Britain. If they weren't united it would have been an eventual victory for the British.

Ron Paul and the campaign have sent NUMEROUS thank you notes and updates on more than a weekly basis! I have more than a dozen different emails just from the start of January! Maybe you entered your email address wrong? HQ has ALWAYS listened to us, but they aren't going to follow the recommendation of just 3 or 4 supporters if they don't realize it's more like 30,000 or 40,000 that actually want something done. Every time I've made a recommendation to HQ (and I've made a few), I have seen them quickly introduce the idea! Ron even adjusted his campaign staff because we complained so loudly! Remember? He mentioned it on his CAMPAIGN UPDATE VIDEO that he made for his GRASSROOTS SUPPORTERS on YOUTUBE! How can you so blatantly have so many facts so very wrong? I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are just not paying attention. Please ask one of us who is paying attention if you need to know what's going on with the campaign. We are trying to organize this new money bomb NOW.

I'll give the $200.00 I said I would and I'm emptying the piggy bank. Actually a gaudy plastic Coca Cola bottle bank. I'm counting it all and will donate that as well. That is exactly what is exciting and inspiring about the money bombs. In fact, if we do not agree on a money bomb date, we won't see that "widget" go anywhere. January proved that. January would have generated only about 2 million dollars if it wasn't for the luke-warm MLK Jr. money bomb. We have the time and resources to make the March 4th Constitution Day money bomb a huge success! No controversy on the date, as the Constitution is universally appealing to the supporters. Stories like the money bombs actually bring excitement and supporters to the campaign. I became a supporter in November AFTER hearing about the money bomb. I had not even heard of Ron Paul before then! Please support the next BIG MONEY BOMB! GO RON PAUL!

1 million in 24 hrs is nothing to sneeze at. None of these other candidates can do it........including Obama, Clinton. They raise more money than Paul but not by individual supporters. 1 mil, 1.85 mil, 4.3 mil, 6.1 mil........all were successes. Ron Paul himself even supports and mentions these "money bomb's".

Obama raised 3 million online in the day following NH, and at least 4 million online in the day following Feb 5th. I'm pretty sure they were small contributions. And it didn't require weeks of planning. We are definitely out of our league now. Clinton, Obama, and McCain will be raising 20-50 million PER MONTH from now on.

Since you've given up on competing at all, that technically makes you no longer a supporter. So why are you here posting messages? This forum is for Ron Paul supporters. We use this service for brainstorming and exchanging ideas to help the campaign, not to read hopeless statements that offer nothing. Thanks for nothing. Go Ron Paul!
Explanation
The last money bomb did not make as much as the previous '07 ones (nor did the MLK Jr money bomb) because of these reasons: Too little publicity, too little time to build momentum (less than 1 week for the 51 years bomb), and inability to agree on a date (many people did not like the MLK Jr day idea). Did you read the post completely? The proposal solves all these concerns. Why is possibly 5 million or more 4 weeks from now worse than a daily trickle that may only reach 1 million by month end? Our past successes in the fall of '07 validate this theory.
