The Ron Paul Money Bomb!

"I'm compiling a list of thousands of Ron Paul supporters in order to send weekly donations of $25 or more at the exact same time. If 20,000 supporters all sent $25 or more at the exact same minute, that would be at least $500,000. We'll create a stir and show the country our grassroots power. To join, send an e-mail to:

download a free little proggie called gadwin printscreen. then when you hit "print screen" a rectangular box will come up and then you can click and drag the are you want to take a picture of. then hit enter and it is saved to "my documents. you can tweak the settings to take full screens, or to automatically save the file without having to name it. quick and easy and it has never failed me in my one year of using it.

Usually you just press the [Print Screen] button, then you have to open up Paint or some other program, then hit [Ctrl] + [V].

That's how I interpret the graph.

Would have been better if the main campaign had waited a day to start the radio broadcast campaign. Then we would know what the effect of each was separately.

Remember, Saturday is usually a worse day than Friday for fundraising (see ronpaulgraphs.com). We're 40 thou greater than yesterday at the same time period, and I think normally we would be about 5-10 thou less. Plus the spike-up started at exactly 1 PM EST, with some acceleration before then as well.

It's Saturday, people are in different time zones. I think a lot of people donating between 2-5 PM EST (remember this is 11 - 2 PM Pacific time) are doing this because of the bomb.

I donated, and I never signed up. I think a lot of other people are in the same boat.

Bottom line? This is a hugely successful fundraising strategy.

The point is the donation. If people have to donate early or late, it doesn't matter to the bottom line. Dr. Paul still gets the donation

For us bombers, I think we'd lose a little bit by smearing our effect out. The graphs are the key to this being as fun as it is. With one hour, our effect is concentrated. Everyone notices.

If it was 2 hours, we might not make as noticable and profound a psychological impact. If a fellow bomber can't strike in the window, he just drops when he can. He'll still do his part. He'll complete the mission. The bomber always gets through!

Just my opinion. Either way, I'm fueled up for Mission #2!

Hi All,

The reason the ronpaulmoneybomb.com website disappeared is due to the server host transfer that took far too long. The new nameserver for the website should begin to spread throughout the webs servers and should be visible to all tomorrow.

Until the nameserver adjusts the website can be accessed using the following: http://d212389.dn24.directnichosting.com

The reason for the nameserver change was to enable scripting and interactivity for the site, hopefully have a message board of sorts, site utilization charts, and a simple sign up script (rather than the bleak link to send email).

I spoke to Jesse and I was informed that we had about 1000 'official' recruits, but I imagine that there were at least another 200 who participated without signing up.

MB1 is now completed. Looks like it spiked from around $24,000.00 to $56,000.00 during our bombardment. $32,000.00 +/- $2000.00 - You all rock! That is far above my expectations.

I hope/expect for that number to at least double next week. I hope that we can make the headlines when we reach the $100,000.00 plateau.

One other personal comment I'd like to make. The only way Dr. Ron Paul has any hope of actually being nominated by the republican party is if we can raise a %$@ load of cash. The party cares not about how many people, how many voters, how many websites, how many blogs, how many polls, etc. They see cash, they move.

So, in conclusion if we can't blow the roof off of Dr. Pauls Cash machine, we might as well stop and actively vote for Giuliani or Clinton.

This was a great beginning. Time to get the troops out and recruit!

Looking at ronpaulgraphs.com, it seems like without the bomb campaign, we would have been at 25 thou at 2 PM EST. And it looks like we'll be at least at 50 thou.

So 25000/25 = 1,000 bombers

But I think that people get sort of confused by the different time zones, so the effect on the donation curve will still be seen after 2 PM EST, and I would think we should be coming up with maybe 50 thous additional, or 2,000 bombers.
