Ron Paul Supporters Do We Stay or Do We Go?

The debate is raging across the blogosphere. Ron Paul supporters, the revolutionists brought together by his message, are trying to decide if the movement should stay affiliated with the Republican Party or move allegiance to a third party or none at all. Here’s my take on the question which can be filed in the ‘for what it’s worth’ file...

Stay the Course
Everything I've read shows a tremendous disadvantage when going third party. Ballot access is a major issue. Keep fighting through the convention and see how things develop.

Ron Paul is following US remember?
Ron Paul has said time and time again that he will only run for as long as the support, grassroots, and money keeps telling him to. I say run it till the last second. Play it to the bone. He's our only chance and any post that recommends he drop out early (in my opinion) is a shill for some other candidate.

I really think its the beginning
Hillary just loan herself 5 million today and her staffs are working 1 month for free. Obama raised almost 5 million since yesturday. Now is the time for us to raise as much money as we can to continue this fight.
The one who can manage to raise more money and having more supporters becoming delegate is going to win this race. Next 30 days will be the most important fight for us. If we stop now, then we deserve to loose this fight. Ron Paul said its not going to be easy to win against establishment and I think he was right.

RP went into this knowing what it would take and how to do it. In RP We Trust. For we have nobody else we can trust.
Third Party
That is the last option. Until we have no other choice (and our choices still are many) then we consider. 42 delegates so far (many more to come). Until Ron Paul tells us that is what we must do your time is wasted on these posts! Please remember there is a brokered convention in our near future. Support those in other states that have not had a primary/caucus. Apparently it's all or nothing until some people decide they're scared. This is more than an election, this is more than Ron Paul (God bless him for waking us up), this is about you and me. Who will carry this flag? If you cannot then I will carry you (I can only return the favor, THANK YOU)

Meetup groups continue to grow. Encourge more people to wake up and join the revolution. Its not just about Ron Paul it's about taking back out country. Geting our liberty back. Lets continue the fight! Lets get Rons aproval on who we should vote for in congress in our own districts.

and I understand the reasoning behind it.. the temptation, as it were. However cutting away from the GOP right now for an independent run would probably burn the entire movement out in 6 months. If y'all think that you are treated like step-children right now, running as an independent would make you appreciate how a leper with AIDS must feel.
Stay the course... thought has been put into it and mathematically it is the only way to accomplish what the people actually want, even though they don't understand the mechanics of it just yet.
