Public Service Announcement - Off-Topic - for Cellphone Users

Many of us use our cellphones to spread the word about Ron Paul.

That way we can communicate our passion, and the message, from wherever we happen to be.

I thought that I would pass on a bit of info for those of us who have cell phones.

Today, February 7th, all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to recieve sales calls once those lists hit their desks.

You will be charged (use minutes) for these calls if you don't have a '100% unlimited minutes' calling plan, and if those calls come within the hours that you use your minutes.
Text messaging is also going to be effected, and if you pay per text message, you will be paying for telemarketing text messages too.

To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone:

888-382-1222

It is the national "Do Not Call" list. It takes about 20 seconds of your time. It blocks your number for five (5) years.

You MUST call from the cell phone you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different phone.

Just an FYI - the last thing many of us need right now (or ever) is a flurry of "You've just won a free trip to Haiti" or "Let me tell you about my timeshare" calls.
