McCain picture doctoring on drudge

This is just an interesting bit of information regarding how McCain's handlers "doctor" the facts. It is a true fact that McCain is only 5' 7" tall. He was a naval aviator and as I understand it, pilots are usually of the smaller version or they wouldn't fit in the cockpit as easily.
Ronald Reagan was 6' 1". If you look at the main page on drudgereport.com you will see a picture with McCain and Reagan strolling together where McCain is the same height as Reagan.
Someone doctored the picture to make him taller than he really is.
If someone will doctor a picture, that same some one will doctor other facts.

I know there isn't a height requirement for becomming President, but isn't it usually found that a President is 6' tall or higher?

I'd agree, no doctoring
it is just the most favorable photo they could. I saved the photo and zoomed it to full page size. McCain is in med step, with his right foot up on his toes. That ads at least 1.5-2 inches. Reagan is leaning to the right and his head is slightly tilted, and Reagan is on a flat foot. If you zoom this to full page size, tehn imagine Reagan standing full upright and imagine McCain standing flat footed...I doubt this photo was doctored. I wonder it may have been taken from video, cause the timing of this is Perfect with McCain in midstep and all.

Inconclusive, and not exactly earth shattering if so...
I'm no photochop expert, but if you blow it up to 400% you definitely see pixelation differences around Reagan's left shoulder (right in pic) and head that seem to suggest Reagan was shrunk a little. Any experts that can confirm this is doctoring?

OK.. extrapolating distance and height data based on positioning of bodies and distance to camera in the photo.. my calculations (if Reagan is 6 foot 1 inch tall), this photo puts McCain at 5 foot 9 1/4 inches tall.
Sounds about right for a pilot.
Look at the angle
and take off the tin foil.
In this picture McCain is still shorter
Angle favors McCain maybe adds 1 inch
McCain is taking a step (on his toes) adds 3 inches
Distance does not favor the exploitation of the remaining 2-3 inches
I would agree they took the most favorable picture available but they most likely did not doctor it
Smudge for Drudge
I liked the Drudge report before, now it's another tool. They also had a Reagan/McCain pic running all day yesterday. I have left them several unflattering comments. McCain is the farthest thing from Ronald Reagan. If Ron Reagan were alive today he would have slapped John McCain upside his head months ago.
Drudge has just become another "trusted" news source that I have had to throw on my growing news garbage heap.

That photo is not doctored, and it doesn't make McCain look the same height as Reagan. McCain is standing slightly closer to the camera, and still looks shorter than Reagan, who is even tilting his head.
Again, not to be mean or anything, but it is just plain silly to suggest that that photo was doctored.
What's doctored is McCain's entire platform as compared to his voting record and past statements.

Not doctored?
You think these politicians and news rags don't doctor pics?! You're not paying attention. Hell, there was a post a few weeks ago with a link showing how Hillary and others darken their skin tone in some pictures that are distributed in Hispanic and African American areas and precincts.
